They weren't really interested in doing One Piece.


None of us is interested in doing Once Piece. Basically, Natsume Yuujinchou is the only project we planned to do, which met the Fansubbing standards. All our “unofficial” releases do not meet those standards. It’s either a non-original encode, a non-original translation, or something else… like a partially completed working script, etc. With the translator/editor (me) going overseas this month, less could be done…. We couldn’t translate the missing lines that you saw in Tiger and Bunny episode 21, or the episode preview in One Piece. I think this should answer all the questions.

Yeah i was waiting for the NoGrp release aswell but it took unusually long so i just got [CCS] v2 release.. meh.

This is pretty much a 1:1 between the anime and the manga as far as pacing goes. Granted, a more ideal ratio would be more like 1.5:1 or 2:1, but obviously that doesn't work when both are released at the same rate.

It seems to me Marimo and Mustache-Brow get along even worse now. I've rewatched some old eps lately and they weren't at each other's throats quite that much in the beginning, although it was already getting bad by the Little Garden. But I suppose this development makes sense; they were free of the other's presence for a couple of years, so now they find it even more annoying.

I'm glad Chopper found real friends so soon. It would have been cruel for him to run around for multiple eps in anguish. Luffy making the same mistake was even funnier than Chopper. Luffy at least is supposed to be a human. Meeting with the fake Luffy (again) should be interesting. Assuming he gets that far before all hell breaks loose.

I take it he didn't consider the first group Straw hats because he was himself among them. That probably turned on a filter successfully. However, this time it was only Zoro and Sanji.
