Yukki being a dipshit is nothing new. I think I'm desensitised now.
"You went too far. You just have to take their phone!"
Then what? Say that you'll kill them if they don't hand you the parachute, take their parachute then leave them in the tower? Yeah, big difference. Oh, and let's forget that you were throwing a dart for the phone like 2 seconds ago? Dumbass.
And of course, I'm not expecting Yuno's "proof of love" to impact on him. Yukki will still be dipshit Yukki.
Yuno... got a voice change though. xD

Nah Yukki was telling Yuno that she only needed to break the phone. I guess it's his way of saying let them die peacefully rather than slitting their throats.

No, he said she only needed to take his phone, not break it. Yukkii doesn't want to kill anyone and thinks taking their phones away will be enough.

So..... perhaps it was current Yuno that killed time-travelling Yuno?
I wasn't sure from Deus's words about whether he could have revived Yuki's parents or just reverse time if he was in full power. If the former, then going along with the "Yuno won the first round" theory she wouldn't have had to replay the entire thing.

Isn't it obvious that there is no time traveling, and the body belongs to the girl that Yuki liked? at least it seems that way to me.

That thought did come to me. I gave weight to 2nd-Yuno because:
1) the police had trouble figuring out her identity
2) Yuno decided she wasn't a threat (though perhaps took insurance too)
I was more surprised at how Niijima was just comfortably talking to Yuno about the bodies. You normally do this under police custody.

I loved this ep. Yukkii was a badass.
Yuno is a nasty freak on some of a murderous freak, she snowballed into his barf covered mouth.

So that was Yuno's motive all along? Protect Yuki so he can win and become god..... because she's ready to die for him whenever. You suck for pushing her away Yuki!

Well, I don't really know if the fake Yuno or the real Yuno even matters.... she's the one Yuki likes isn't she? Not sure if this has any effect on the game or not. Also, what annoyed me about this episode is the fact that Yuno didn't shoot 11th. Considering throughout the whole series Yuno hasn't hesitated at all when it comes to killing someone, she could have shot 11th before Akise arrived.

Sorry. I can't act as calmly as you can. This is like those dramas there someone finds out their dad isn't their biological dad.. or that their squirrel is really a chipmonk. WHO GIVES A SHIT.
I had my hopes up this episode even if Yuki was only acting out Yuno's plan. He was pretty cool, but Yuno's get up (that seemed to serve no practical purpose other than looking sex-xy) outshone him.
I was soo hoping he'd squeeze Yuno's hand harder, pull her towards him and say "So?"
Even if it was only because he'd use Yuno to reach God-mode.. at least that would have shown that he's gained some resolve. It is frustrating how much Yuki is influenced by others, and how little Yuno matters to him in comparison.

Still donīt like Akise, who feels too much like a convenient plot device, but at least the anime is getting somewhere. I guess the theories about Yuno being a previous winner are about to turn out true, since she was able to open the safe.

Mon, 03-12-2012, 02:43 PM
The safe seemed to be at a high level in the building.
9th is a very clever bomber.
She could have used those skills to destroy the building in a way the safe falls quickly enough to kill eleventh when it crashes on the ground.
We still do not know who Chibi is.
We have yet to know why God did that strange thing to 9th
Regarding Yuno, 2 of them have existed at the same time at some point.
We do not know who the current God is, could be Yuno or Akise.
After all they are god, so the strange thing in the chair could be there to deceive everyone.

Looking though 21 again, I found something strange. In the scene where Yukki is writing down all the people he killed, Yuno mentions to him that he still has to kill the 9th, 11th, and 8th. At first I thought it might have been a subbing error, but listening to Yuno, she actually says exactly what's subbed.
I'm surprised nobody else brought this up, actually. Could just be a screw up on the actual creators side though.

It is a mistranslation that will be fixed in the GotWoot version. She's listing off what he's done/has to do without using the past tense to refer to Ninth and Eleventh. There are usually a few stupid errors like this since we don't do a proper translation check or quality check for the speed version.

I donīt really understand the whole "Gasai needed Yukiteru to win the game". Makes no sense, since Yukki was completely helpless without her.
Anyway, I kinda liked this ep, even though I have more than one complaint. For one, Akise REALLY is Kaworu, damn. Also, what was with Kousakaīs sudden death wish? Hinata was killed by surprise, alright. Mao didnīt care about a thing anymore, because her love was killed, okay. But Kousaka? I mean, it was kinda neat to see him such a selfless dude in the end, but his death was the most suicidal of all of them.
Anyway, I guess next episode is the finale, eh? Looking forward.

The former.
That makes sense.
Yuno's diary is useless if Yuki is dead. As long as she's with Yuki and he's alive, Yuki's diary will keep predicting evens that happen nearby, including what happens to Yuno herself.
Once everyone else is dead.. well Yuki is kind toast vs Yuno.
What we should be wondering about us Yuno's motive. If she is okay with killing Yuki, does she actually love him? If not, then why is her diary one that records all of Yuki's actions? It's either out of love, hate or academic fascination.
Has this got anything to do with the Yuki in her world?
Let's remind ourselves again too that Yuki opening that room back in episode 2 or 3 was supposed to have world-changing consequences. Supposedly if he hadn't done that, him and Yuno would have come to a Happy End. Does Yuno desire a fresh life with Yuki where he sees her as pure? Did the opening of the room ruin that, so she's not trying to win the game, become god and try over yet again?
Akise Aru aside.. what did Deus do to Ninth back 2 episodes when he plunged his arm through her?
MFauli
Tue, 03-20-2012, 07:40 AM
Ah, makes sense that Yuno needs Yuki to stay alive for her own diary to function.
What kinda bothered me was how Akise could defend himself against Yuno. Even with his detective diary, Yuno has some mad killer skills. Guess we have to accept that, and maybe Akise has some special physical skills too, since he is an artificial being created by Deus.
Anyway, since thereīs more than one episode left, I guess weīre about to see other universes/dimensions, or what else are they going to show, now that everyoneīs dead?

Gotspeed - Episode 23 (http://www.nyaa.eu/?page=download&tid=299203)
------------------------
Right at the end... is that stupid Yuki again? Or is he right about everything this time? Certainly God-Yuno killed the Yuno who promised to be Yuki's wife.. but who's not to say God-Yuno never made that same promise with the First-World-Yuki?
In the end, 2nd-World-Yuno was the one who promised to wed Yuki while God-Yuno went through everything TWICE with Yuki to get here. I don't see anything wrong with the picture.
The current situation isn't exactly a disadvantage for Yuno though. Yuki might actually want to kill her now - and she obviously either wanted him to kill her in the first place (I'm actually betting that she's provoking Yuki into killing her - she's not actually trying to kill him).
Only problem now is that instead of Yuki killing Yuno and happily being King, he might rewind time himself to save 2nd-World-Yuno this round.
Question is... how does Murmur come into play from all this? It's Yuno's and Yuki's problem as far as I can tell - but somehow this will pave the road to let her become God instead.
edit2: I'm rather impressed that we had this all down before episode 04 aired. Go Gotwoot. :3

Lol, oh man, this episode. Now Iīve gotta up the ante, since Iīve been writing on a scifi-novel that happens to have a very similar twist. Goddamn, Mirai Nikki.
Anyway, I donīt understand why Future-Yuno killing her past self is such a shocking, awful event. It kinda didnīt impress me at all, both because it was obvious for a long time, and because itīs just not that shocking per se. Guess they could have presented it in a more effective way, too.
So, next episode: Planets will shatter, Suns will burst, when Yukki and Yuno are battling it out in the ultimate fight of destiny! All Iīll say is: KAME HAME HA!

I donīt understand what Ninth and Yukiteru are trying to accomplish by saving 3rd world-Yuno and running away from 1st world-Yuno. Shouldnīt they confront her and Murmur to settle things once and for all?
Also, why is Ninth running away anyway, when she has god-like powers now?
Lastly, fuck the author of this manga/anime for stealing the plot of my own novel. Lol, what Iīm writing still goes a good bit beyond Mirai Nikki, but damn.

I'm not seeing the point of some of this neither.
-Yuno wants to kill Yuki (or at least is baiting him to kill her). If she can't do that she'll restart the game in the 3rd world. That's easy enough to understand.
-Yuki didn't want to kill Yuno but wants to save her and stop her from doing all the stuff she's doing. He's running away with 3rd Yuno... (well at least that's stopping Yuno from doing what she's trying to do.. but it's not exactly solving anything).
-I'm guessing Ninth wants to go about things "quietly".. and since Yuki won't let her kill Yuno (like he could stop her lol, but anyway) she'll have to think of something else.
All together though.. I'm not seeing the main picture. It just feels like Yuno's doing shit and they're simply getting in her way.

Btw. do we have to assume that Yunoīs masterful murder-skills (using the knife and such) stem from her being a god? If so, I wonder how she won the first time, when she hadnīt gained god-powers.

Man, I hate everything about Murmur. I just ... DONT CARE ABOUT YOU. ugh. "I release the seal, Murmur!" What random bullshit.
I have several problems with how this show is about to end. One of them being that right now, Ninth, hardly connected to the main character, was/is fighting all by herself against the enemy. Also, and thatīs a big one, the anime failed to develop Yukki as a likeable character. Maybe itīs just me, but heīs just as insane as Yuno, and not the good kind of insanity.
The battle animation is quite nice, so itīs fun to watch, but I feel like this anime would have profited in quality from being 13 instead of 26 episodes.

What Arch is saying is that people pretended to not have read the manga when they have, then made fake predictions based on actual knowledge of what will transpire.
If this was made into a single cour show, it would have sucked so badly that manga fans would condemn the show. Right now, it is doing quite well. The limiter release was hinted at in a previous episode where it was mentioned that Murmur was constricted by such a handicap made by Deus.
Buffalobiian
Wed, 04-11-2012, 10:23 PM
Yeah, I knew what Ark meant. I was saying that a large bulk of the predicted events came from Krayz33. The implication was that I didn't believe Krayz33 to be of manga-prophet character.
You can argue that posts before that may have lead to it though, and that those may have been influenced by manga readers.
Does Murmur still want to be Dues? I thought that's the role Yuno assumed, but Murmur's pretty obedient towards her (at least lately.. she kinda informed Yuki of the previous worlds without her consent though.. so I don't know what's up with her).
