I don't think he has lost an eye. Maybe its a self imposed restriction to make things more challenging or he is hiding his own hawk eye. Also, having a scar on the eye is a sign of manliness (Shanks and Rayleigh)! No need to hide it.

Maybe it's even realistic. It would be comparable to a human looking at two reindeers sharing similar major characteristics and being able to tell them apart. Chopper isn't human, so he likely can differentiate other reindeers much better than humans. However, it doesn't change the fact he has no talent for distinguishing individuals.

I'm also thinking Zoro didn't lose an eye. It's not impossible and any manner of circumstances could have led to him losing it, but for now I'm going to expect he didn't. Nevertheless, he looks badass and that's of course what really counts.

The guy has giant wounds all over his body. Why would his eye be an exception?

Also, I don't know why everyone thinks "Hawk Eye" is some kind of Sharingan all of a sudden.

If anything, recent developments seems to suggest that Mihawk simply excels at Observation Haki.

I mean, if the last they'd seen of him was the Whitebeard War, I could maybe understand that. But after the incident with the bell, I can't imagine what would make him think he was dead.

The fact that a pirate crew which had gained so much fame in a short amount of time dissappeared for 2 whole years, one could come to the conclusion that they had ventured into the New World and perished.

Hey a 33% bounty bump is still nothing to scoff at. 400 million is higher than any of the former bounties identified for the schichibukai members.
