I'm a bit excited that kubo learned a new stance, the one in which Ichigo swings the sword like a baseball bat. it's a new one.
of course, it's balanced by the fact that there are almost six pages with entirely white panels.

I'm going to throw a wild guess here, but I say that Gingo is actually Nouzbango Oda.

Were you really? Ichigo hasn't gone Bankai yet and with amount on content per page Kubo is going to milk this for atleast a few months.

All of the semi build up has to lead somewhere and the guy with the past augmenting sword has some part to play.

I'm not going to lie... this whole time I thought Ginjo stole Ichigo's substitute-shinigami badge and replaced it with a corrupted replica or something. Never even thought about the fact it could have been his own.

So all the build-up of fullbring and now it's meaningless?

Nah, it just gave the current "big bad"(and I use the term loosely) a power up to make things somewhat interesting in a fight...I guess.
