Synopsis: The stage is a certain port city within the Kantou region. There resides Tandouji Aruma, who lives a lonely and solitary life. One day, he is approached by Aiba Ruri who asks for his help, for the power of the Sacred Seven which resides within Aruma. However, Aruma turns her away. In the past, Aruma had hurt people with that power. Since that moment, he had foresworn it.

But when the peaceful city is attacked by a monster, Aruma reluctantly decides to use the Sacred Seven. However, his powers go berserk and the situation becomes even more dire. At that moment, Ruri comes to his aid.

Watched the first ep just now. I quite liked it.

I have been looking forward to this one. I enjoyed the first ep but it did feel like there was something missing. I think that as they expand on the story it could turn out good. Def gonna keep watching this one.

Only thing missing is explanations at this point. But I am sure that will be in the next episode. Darkstones and stuff like that.

The only thing wrong about this prelude was the fact Tandouji's original darkstone looks (the berserk mode) were badass and cool while the new, controlled appearance only made him look like a goofy power ranger superhero.

I'll keep watching for now.

The snipers were there to take out Tandouji if he went berserk (as if they could have, but theoretically). I do agree that Aiba forcing all of her female employees to wear maid uniforms is a sure sign of mental instability.

The fight was far too easy. Not really awfully lot else to say about this episode, other than Aiba's level of sanity is more and more questionable. Aoi probably enclosed herself in crystal to escape her sister's madness.

That would be the logical assumption but they never stated it. Is the label in japanese? Can you read it?

I think the label on the bottle (EDIT: Moero Oore) was in English. They never stated it, but the context clues all led to the aphrodisiac conclusion.

EDIT: Moero Oore (assuming Oore is Ore) means "Burn up, me"

We never ended up seeing the power of the laser cannon.

At least the next ep looks like it will bring more humanoid enemies back. These mindless monster fights have been less than interesting, far from exciting.

These past two eps were quite interesting. Of course the excuse for anything to happen was the ages old damsel in distress plot element, but disregarding that, the latter ep underlined what we already knew: Kenmi is a scumbag with a pepsodent smile. Knight being a ruthless murderer stopping at nothing to further his goals places Ruri and Tandouji nicely between a rock and a hard place when considering their options in the future. This is as it should be, naturally, for an intriguing plot! (Not that this show has or will ever have an intriguing plot, but generally speaking.)

I have thought from the beginning that one of the funniest parts in this show is the huge Tandouji driving the minuscule moped.
