In all, I don't think there's a lot to look forward from new shows overall. Consider that I've only mentioned what look at most notable.
There are rumors that there's The Incredible Hulk in development with Gillermo del Toro behind it. Also rumors of development of an adaptation of Stephen King's The Dark Tower with Ron Howard behind it and another adaptation for Neil Gaiman's American Gods.
There was a rumor of Wonder Woman potentially being picked up by NBC, but it seems like they have passed on it.
Here's a chart with the primetime schedule (doesn't include The CW):

I can honestly say i'm really looking forward to some of the new shows, Terra Nova and Alcatraz the most, then possibly Grimm and Falling Skies.
It's awesome that there seems to be alot of pretty decent looking Sci-Fi stuff coming out, i need it!

I think Grimm is going to fail, particularly if it goes against Fringe and Supernatural on Fridays which seems to be the case. Awake looks interesting to me, big fan of the actor from Brotherhood.

The cancellations haven't been unexpected, at least we got some surprise renewals which was quite nice.

The premisse of Tera nova sounds absolutely fucking stupid, but I guess the production values will make up for it.

Falling Skies: The hell? Since when does TNT have original series? I am expecting AMC level epicness. Looks like Walking Dead only with aliens and action. Need something to satiate the hole that V is going to leave. I thought V was renewed, WTF? I guess V had too much build-up.
The Playboy Club/Awake: Trailer not working, but I probably wouldn't like it since it's NBC.
Grimm: I automatically hate it because of the trailer music. Or so I thought. This actually looks scary! And cool! Really good trailer, I was misled, too. Even a Little Red Riding Hood allegory reference thing. It looks like one of those search/mystery shows, though. Not sure I'm into that. So bored of cops. I feel like they just revealed the entire plot in one trailer?!
Up All Night: Funny. The trailer is basically an entire movie/plot again!?!?! Looks way better than Raising Hope.
The River: Um, Jurassic Park? Cloverfield? If the show isn't all movie-like like the trailer suggests it will be, I'll be sad.
Once Upon a Time: Has the chick from House and nice costumes. Could be cool if the acting gets better... This show really needs HBO-style pacing, though. It will probably long and drawn out and horrible on ABC...
Work It: LOL. Looks like White Chicks.
Man Up!: Looks funny. Reminds me of The League.
Charlie's Angels: Has Minka Kelly. She's beautiful! Has the blonde chick from Grey's Anatomy. Meh. Reminds me of White Collar. NOT WATCHING.
Terra Nova: OK. Starts off with gas masks. WIN. In 2100's AD, WIN. Flashes family propoganda. Reminds me of Ender's Game. WIN!!! Is that the guy from Life on Mars? Love him! The greenery looks all futuristic and Avatary. OMG a random monster? Didn't I just watch this in The River? WTF.
Napoleon Dynamite: What is this I don't even
Allen Gregory: This looks hilarious. I like the animation and the setting!
Alcatraz: Are there seriously this many new shows? Were there this many last year? So many! It looks like a mystery series that no one will be able to predict because it's all random shit. JJ Abrams pissed me off with Lost and he's pissing me off with Fringe, I'm going to skip Alcatraz.
Person of Interest: Seriously tired of government mystery shows. But it has Ben from Lost and a Minority Report feel. Also I like the dialogue. Will probably watch.

TNT has had original series for a while now, The Closer has been it's most successful. My favorite was a series called Saved, but only lasted one season. Also of notice is Witchblade, Dark Blue, and Saving Grace (didn't you used to watch that?).
As for V, no surprise there getting cancelled, it was doing quite poorly in the ratings. All the breaks the show took really hurt it, particularly in the 1st season when it aired 4 episodes in the Fall, then waited until Spring to resume the season.
The Playboy Club/Awake: Trailer not working, but I probably wouldn't like it since it's NBC.
I don't care about The Playboy Club, but it doesn't look that bad actually. Seems to have some good production values. As for Awake, it's actually one of the series that I'm most anticipating, so I urge to find a working link in youtube for the trailer. I think it's the show on NBC with the highest chance of success.
I have some mixed feelings about Grimm myself, and I don't think this show will survive beyond 1 season. I don't know who was the genius that decided to air this show on Fridays against Supernatural and Fringe, so dumb. Oh, and CSI:NY is also there.
Up All Night: Funny. The trailer is basically an entire movie/plot again!?!?! Looks way better than Raising Hope.
Don't know about this one, but I'm a big fan of Will Arnett so hopefully it'll succeed at some level. His show last season was awful.
Once Upon a Time: Has the chick from House and nice costumes. Could be cool if the acting gets better... This show really needs HBO-style pacing, though. It will probably long and drawn out and horrible on ABC...
Yeah, I'm worried about the pacing, but I thought the acting looked pretty good I thought considering the usual crap you find on TV.
Work It: LOL. Looks like White Chicks.
Man Up!: Looks funny. Reminds me of The League.
These are the two comedies I most looking forward too, but I'm skeptical of it finding it's audience. I hope they do since they look to have some solid funny writing in there.
Charlie's Angels: Has Minka Kelly. She's beautiful! Has the blonde chick from Grey's Anatomy. Meh. Reminds me of White Collar. NOT WATCHING.
I don't care for it either.
WTF.
I like the premise, but I hope the acting and dialogue turns out better than what we've seen.
Napoleon Dynamite: What is this I don't even
Are you telling me you never saw the movie Napoleon Dynamite? Yeah, me neither, but seems like a very odd and funny movie. Will certainly take a look at it before the cartoon starts.
Allen Gregory: This looks hilarious. I like the animation and the setting!
This really seems interesting, I liked when he started hitting on the Principal.
Looking forward to both, haven't finished LOST yet, so I'm not pissed with Abrams (though I don't know how much he was involved in the later stages of the show). I don't think we had this many shows, but not far from it. NBC and ABC did a lot of new programs last season too (remember that with the cancellation of Jay Leno's show they had 5 new primetime hours right off the bat), and this year FOX cleaned house so that's the reason for these many new shows, plus most if not all of NBC and ABC new shows failed. Terra Nova was supposed to air this Spring though.

I never saw Saving Grace. It simply doesn't look interesting.
I'm lazy, anyone want to post a trailer for Awake?
I saw Napoleon Dynamite when I was like 3. Everyone at my school quoted from it. It was the Finding Nemo of its time. I finally rented the DVD when it came out, and then I watched it. It was mildly funny but not OMGOGMOGMG funny. I guess I will download it again. I am very surprised that they're making a TV show from it...
V took way too much time building up and slowly unraveling the mystery. I hate it when shows do that. They needed to take the Dr. Who route and solve little mysteries while building a great over arching plot. Was Will Arnett's other show cancelled?
I actually liked Outsourced. The Cape was getting good. Mr Sunshine was okay, wasn't expecting that to get cancelled. No Ordinary Family, The Event, and Off The Map were horrible disasters.

Awake: I stand corrected. Awake looks amazing. The acting is phenomenon. Looks like a cross between Inception and Life on Mars. I'm going to take a flying stab, though and say its either a) a coma, b) purgatory, c) some horrible futuristic illusion like on Life on Mars. A resolution would be amazing, though... instead of just an endless serialization of case by case with minute clues...
The Playboy Club: I can't tell if this is going to be good because whoever does the trailers for NBC is a fucking trailer genius. This definitely looks like Nip/Tuck. This is set in the past, too? I like.
What's up with these long ass, high quality, stylistic trailers NBC? New marketing strategy, or did you just up the level of your shows? I can't tell!
