Plot Summary: A school girl leads a baseball club using lessons from a book called Drucker's Management.
Minami Kawashima becomes the new manager of Tokyo's Hodokubo High School baseball team to help her best friend, Yūki Miyata. Yūki is the current manager, but due to her weak health, she ends up in a hospital and might undergo a surgery. While searching for a book to assist her, Kawashima accidentally buys "Management: Tasks, Responsibilities, Practices". Written by Peter Drucker, one of the most important authors on the subject of business management, the book unorthodoxly guides Minami on how to administer the team. -ANN

Not an anime for everybody. Art style and animation is simple with a slowish story that seems to be as much about teaching the audience about the application of Management as much as it is about a girl's experience in baseball. I don't mind that at all though, especially when I consider how this anime is teaching me a book that I wouldn't have otherwise read.

I hesitated creating a thread for that one for several days as there's a frostii (Frozen) version.

Thing is, after ep2, I find this to be very generic and bland.
I wonder if it gets better after that, since I can't stand gg anymore and did not check if frozen did new releases.

Didn't expect a tear jerker at the end, even if it didn't actually jerk any tears out.

Anyways, that was a nice quiet series I don't regret watching. Minami's hairstyle at the end doesn't really suit her, but that's pretty much unavoidable. I couldn't believe I totally missed some of the soft yuri vibes until the flashback at the end. I blame that half the boys (or at least 3 of them) seem like they have a crush on Yuki.

Just finished last 2 eps, and I concur to your comments.
Hopefully I watched those 2 eps, would have been a real shame as they put that show just in the average zone.
There's no bad nor good things about it. Decent winter or low energy watch :D
