I'm already liking this arc better than the Fake Karakura Town arc.

That was some pretty crispy animation. Maybe I'll follow just on that aspect (to make up for the final bout in Aizen's arc). Though I felt slightly dissapointed by the end of this ep. They were too soon with all the original captains showing up.

So we've got a guy that thinks he's even stronger than Aizen and no one even knew about him?

I think he meant he was stronger than Mayuri, not Aizen.

Anyway, a new villain doesn't have to be at Aizen's level to be a threat because Ichigo's final powerup was basically a one-shot.

Also, he seems like he's more about the scheming than the using of raw power.
