Plot Summary: Ganta Igarashi has been convicted of a crime that he hasn't committed, and sent to a new, privately owned and operated prison, where the inmates are the main attraction in a modern day twist to the gladiatorial coliseums of ancient times. Throw in a healthy dose of weird little girl, some new-found super powers ( Branch of Sin ), and a little conspiracy theory, and you have Deadman Wonderland.

From what I can tell it is just as brutal as the manga and the VA's didn't let me down. Looking forward to the rest of the episodes.

Those are all just CR edits, only slightly better than HS since HS doesn't edit. CR also had numerous translation errors. I think GotWoot is the only group that's done an original translation.

The gore gets censored. From what I see I think it's along the lines of Elfen Lied gore. Guts hanging out kinda gore. Needles to say the uncensored versions are gonna be a lot better since you'd get the vibe a bit more.

After three episodes I don't know whether to drop this or not. I really like the characters and all. Shiro is really cute, Ganta is a decent guy and so down on his luck its hard not to root for him. But the premises of this park is so stupid and it gets more ridiculous by the episode. Well I won't say more incase I accidentally spoiler it for anyone who has not watched this yet, but if you have seen up to ep 3 I'm sure you know what I mean.

Personally this is my favorite of the season. It even got me so hooked that I started reading the manga.... Based upon the manga this could end up being really good. I am looking forward to the next few episodes to see how they end up doing it.

I think horriblesubs is messing up at the moment. I just tried to download the latest "World only god knows" and I got something else.

edit: I couldve sworn I made a comment about this episode. Anyways, all I can say about it is that I really love Minatsuki. I'm not usually into the crazy chicks, but man...I watched this episode like 4 times because of her.

I wish they'd release a second season but from what I've heard it didn't do well in Japan....
such a waste, not only do we get to see awesome and well done superpowers, but good animation, good plot and nice characters too! ... and of course gore.

I'm still waiting for someone to release the BD version. Judging from the first episode, and what I read about the others, there was just too much censoring in the broadcast. I have Gotwoot's as a backup... but my urge to see this series has not bypassed my need for high quality, uncensored releases.

is this suppossed to be another Elfen Lied?
I don't think so, because the music and characters give this anime absolutely different feeling.
its more like your typical "stand up and fight for what you want"- anime with a harsher tone to it.
(something I'd like to see more often in other series)
