What's your opinion on the two opening post formats for anime posts? Does the traditional left align look better, or center, now that we have changed layouts?

Example (http://forums.gotwoot.net/showthread.php/19451-Fractale) of left align
Example (http://forums.gotwoot.net/showthread.php/19774-Armored-Trooper-Votoms-Case-Irvine-%28OAV%29) of center align

It's a bit of a mixed bag I say..

Bakuman's intro makes a good hybrid, and the mass of text acts to balance things out, whereas VOTOM looked really bad left-aligned. Fractale's meh, while Madoka shows that left-align rocks when the pic is a landscape one.

Align Left.

Not that I am a traditionalist or anything, but a forum layout is meant to look like pages in my opinion, so everything belongs to the left. Centered just looks weird, jumbled. The Fractale thread just looks clean and organized (as does the IS thread for that matter).

Align left. That's what I've always been doing, so it must be the correct way.

I think the centered image is ok, but am not at all a fan of centered multi-line text.

Pretty much this, center the picture and leave the text as it is.

Centered pictures. Text to the left.
