I don't understand this BS filler crap, just finish this part of the story and do a year of filler, or a story driven filler......I just hate this random, stupid filler crap.

Well, like the other thread says, the series is apparently ending at the end of the season. And they can't end a series mid season. Thus, we get filler to fill in the season.
