This weekend marks another Halloween. How are you spending it, Gotwoot?

Unfortunately I'm not dressing up this year (unless I can think of some cheap, last minute costume ideas). I had planned on doing Freddie Mercury or Lord Gaga, but they will have to wait. I'm actually quite upset since I've put a lot of effort into my costumes the past couple of years.

Any interesting plans?

I spent an hour after school today bringing back my students' pet hamster for the occasion. I hope they appreciate the effort.

I almost had to click the "report abuse" link on that image hosting website, that's a ghastly hamster zombie.

My quick costume idea is to go as a Viet Cong soldier. Unfortunately with the recent gun-related incident at UT involving an AK-47, I wouldn't be able to carry anything resembling an authentic assault rifle (the VC used AKs).

As per usual I'll be busy with school work, plus the trifling matter that I haven't been invited to any Halloween parties because I'm anti-social.

I'm most likely going to dress up as a witch and go party at my friend's birthday on the 31st. On another note, happy upcoming Halloween everybody!

I decided a quick and easy costume would be Todd Ingram (http://www.google.com/images?um=1&hl=en&safe=off&biw=1280&bih=530&tbs=isch%3A1&sa=1&q=todd+ingram+scott+pilgrim&aq=f&aqi=g2&aql=&oq=&gs_rfai=), but after buying some "blonde" spray dye and having my hair turn sparkling gold, I feel like a Super Saiyan would be more apt.

I'm driving up to Austin tomorrow. If you want to go out on Saturday night, I'm going to 6th with my friends from the art club to walk around and look at costumes. You should come along.

Sapphire too, if she's home!

How was everyone's haloween? I was an undead bee, or a "zombee". I was invited to like 6 parties, but made it to none of them and ended up at home and in bed at 1:30. I must be getting old.

A kid Trick or Treated our house at 4 in the afternoon, and we had no candy to give him. (I keep forgetting to stock a packet every year since it's Halloween is almost non-existent here).

He didn't want to give us too much trouble, so he left after I turned up with nothing. You couldn't tell what he was though. Some sort of superhero maybe?

I only eat gourmet candy, and sadly we haven't bought any for a long while.

My best friend's arsty-craftsy roommate turned my last minute costume idea into a pretty cool looking deal. Photoshop did the rest:

I spent Halloween wandering around Austin with my friend and her friend going into parties that were too disgusting to stay at for more than 20 minutes at a time. Good weekend, overall.
