Is this series supposed to fill in the gap between the two movies? After watching this episode, it felt like it isn't.
The CGI this time looks bearable.
I just hope that this won't follow the MOTW formula where Tony must fight each Zodiac mecha each episode.

This was ok I guess. It was pretty awkward and hammy, however.

So I've been watching this new Marvel Anime Iron man, and considering that there's not much else going on at the moment, i thought I'd recommend it to anyone else who might be interested. I'm no expert on subbing groups so if someone else wants to recommend a better subber, please do, but here's the group i've been watching:
Episode 1 (http://www.nyaatorrents.org/?page=download&tid=162064)
Episode 2 (http://www.nyaatorrents.org/?page=download&tid=164074)
Episode 3 (http://www.nyaatorrents.org/?page=download&tid=166267)
Episode 4 (http://www.nyaatorrents.org/?page=download&tid=168159)
Episode 5 (http://www.nyaatorrents.org/?page=download&tid=169358)
As i understand it, this is the first in a four part series of Marvel anime featuring some of marvels best sellers. each series will consist of 12 30min episodes. Wolverine is set to air next, with the last 2 series being X-Men and Blade. [Source] (http://marvel.com/news/moviestories.13390.marvel_anime_heads_to_g4)
My initial thoughts, was that the VA for Tony Stark was a poor choice based solely on my Hollywood preconceptions of the character i suppose. But i got over that minor detail fairly quickly.
The story itself is, at this point (Ep.5), not very complicated or deep, and i dont expect it to develop much, but despite that this should still be an entertaining watch for any fans of the genre.
