Anyone here watches this show? It seems to be doing very well. Ed O'neill, Sofia Vergara, Julie Bowen... seems like there's plenty to like here.

So, been thinking of giving this a shot. Show also won an Emmy for Best Comedy.

GET TO KNOW
Today's Modern Family comes in all shapes and sizes. Just ask these three families.

Jay recently married Gloria. Now Jay is trying hard to keep up with his much younger and hotter Colombian wife, along with her passionate pre-teen son, Manny. Claire is having a hard time raising her own family. Her husband Phil is great, except that he thinks he's "down" with their three kids, much to all their embarrassment. And, Mitchell and his enthusiastic partner Cameron have just made a major life change by adopting a Vietnamese baby named Lily.

Who doesn't think their family is the strangest one out there? So, when we heard executive producers Steve Levitan (Just Shoot Me) and Christopher Lloyd (Frasier) were taking on what it means to grow up or be a parent in this day and age, we knew we found a modern comedy we could relate to.

I watched most of season 1.
very funny, not 'married with children' cruel but very realistic.
Gloria (latin MILF) is hilarious BTW.
I recommend it.

This show is just so...balanced...yeah, that's the way to put it. It's kind of your family situation comedy, but they've got a MTV's The Real World confessional type of added to that, where the characters speak their minds in private. The humor is awesome. No sadism or cruelty or any real attempt to offend, but also manages to take no prisoners. You just cringe in gleeful embarassment at some of the situations. You'll feel like you can relate, without feeling the typical cheesiness that you'll often find in other family comedies. It's just so well done.

3 episodes in, and enjoying it. It has a bit of The Office in it.
