I am currently using adhoc to get internet on my desktop computer, it does not have a normal internet card so I cannot plug it in directly, so I am plugging in the laptop then broadcasting an adhoc network through it. Got it to work after bridging the cable connection and the wireless card.
My problem is that I have to create a new network each time the laptop is restarted, which is every day. The same network only works as long as the laptop is on, and gets broken whenever I turn the laptop off then back on again. Is there a simple reason for this? It only takes me 10-15 sec extra every morning but would be cool if there was a simple fix for this.
