I skimmed over parts of this episode. It was alright I guess. I sure miss the old art style though. Shippuuden ones feel so "clean".

I also couldn't ever remember seeing Naruto in a hoodie-vest until this episode. It's pretty cute.

This wasn't nearly as terrible as I was expecting. Not that I'd still find brattish Naruto much fun but at least the emphasis being on Iruka gives this arc some validity. The dude's not of much use in anything but teaching kids but he's become quite good at that, no doubt, and this arc will likely show why.

Sasuke having the girls chorus cheering for his every move was as annoying as ever.
