Ibuki, returning to his childhood town for his grandmother's funeral, is not at all shocked to find that nothing in the little town has changed. Except that he finds out that his grandmother had remarried and that he is now succeeding her as the "Mononokemono."

To be honest my first thought was another monster of the week series, but the general attitude of the main character was at least promising (although it can be safely left to Archie to choose only such series). Somehow reading this was a bit hard on my eyes. Maybe it was the extreme contrast and small note text, or maybe my eyes simply happened to be tired already.

I'll likely have a look at a few more chapters, if I remember. This is only four volumes so I trust it won't become tedious like some stories with the same general idea.

Twas quite some work, even though I did only one half. The Manga's pretty refreshing in comparison to other ones. I will stick to read it even, when I won't do a chapter of it ;)

I suppose the mangakas style of drawing is a little... well it sucks sometimes, but overall I saw worse manga ;) And a manga isn't all about the drawings.

Your proofreader sucks. Even I could do a better job.

-----------------------------

I'm a big fan of Nico. She's perky, but not overly annoying due to her character flaws. I just wish that Ibuki wasn't so much of a Kyon-style character. His attitude is right given his circumstances, but he's kind of an ass.

I enjoy the art. It reminds me a Usagi Drop (http://www.mangaupdates.com/series.html?id=7372). It's not that detailed, but it has really clean lines. That's almost always a plus for me lately. I hate series that look like they were sketched with a pen in a day and a half.

Question...
This is like the third time I've seen in a manga a black cat with a crescent on his head. I can't remember the other times, but I guess it has some cultural significance.
can someone elaborate?

Neat that the site is doing this now. Is this like an AOne staff thing, or is it just board members?

AonE has virtually nothing to do with gotwoot anymore

Both the fansubing and the scanlating group were created by board members

that sound about right, I wasn't so sure about it, but if you say so, it probably is.

[sailor moon, not the other thing].

speaking of which, Sailor moon final page is about necrophilia, what do you say about that?!?

so sailor moon, and I think also school rumble had a black cat with a moon on it's head (Iori?). and doesn't the dark EEVEE evolution (umberon?) look like a moon cat as well?

what's the deal with that?

edit: how drunk was I when I posted this?

The next person posting about Sailor Moon (or something else completely unrelated) will be given some free time to study the matter in depth.
