Set as a precuel for both the series and the Strong World Movie, episode 0 shows us the structure of the One Piece World 20 years prior to Luffy's adventure.

Not the best quality, but its watchable.

This episode was released as a prize only, meaning less than 3000 copies exist legally.

Eh? For real? The version I had didn't had those. Yibis should have edited them out. Specially since the movie isn't out yet -_-

There were some mighty young folks in that video, like Ace, for example.

Chibi Hancock! Moe~

That had some kickass animation and it was great how they managed to get all of those different voice actors back for such small lines, can't wait for the movie to come out on dvd

Indeed <3

lmao @ Duval's birth scene. That was my favorite part of the manga and it's even better animated and voiced.

Mayuri's voice was a perfect fit for Dr. Indigo. They're both creepy researcher types.

I can't wait either. I think this will be the first anime movie that i'm excited for.

Hmm, I can't seem to download that link. I start it, and then a couple seconds later I get a torrent error.

It's weird to because it got a third of the way done before it started doing this.

Awesome, thanks!

That was pretty sweet. Seeing everyone in their youth.

When does that movie come out on DVD?

I believe there's no release date set yet for the movie. Did a quick search as well and the only store that has pre-orders for a Strong World DVD is Amazon Japan, set for July 23. But I have my doubts since it says it says its 84 minutes long, whereas the movie is 113 minutes long. Maybe its the pre-movie filler episodes.

Maybe its the pre-movie filler episodes.

That's exactly what it is. Episodes 426-429 on 1 DVD for the retail price of 4725 yen. I learned that from a search I did yesterday when I found this.

Not really a filler. Oda wrote the story and designed the characters for the movie.

Apparently doesn't even require a "not really". It's straight up not filler. It's in the manga.

It's not really entirely cannon either, Oda wrote that special chapter as a promotional tool for the movie

Can it be a filler that Oda came up with?

lol not that I need to argue for the sake of arguing. It fit in nicely with the story is what I mainly wanted to talk about.

We'll see, depending if Shiki the Golden Lion gets mentioned ever again or not

He was mentioned in Chapter 530 on page 5 (http://read.mangashare.com/One-Piece/chapter-530/page005.html). This part of 530 was used in anime ep 425.

Why argue it? Aside from the golden lion bits, everything in the special is just a recap of details already mentioned in the series anyway.

Lol....are you just saying that cause it was suggested in the equivalent manga thread?
It'd obviously not Hogback. Not only would he not have been on Roger's ship without us knowing it, but he wasn't even a pirate prior to joining up with Moria.

How can he not be on Roger`s ship without us knowing? we don`t know his full biography, who says he wasn`t a pirate before joining Moria? Roger was sick yes? and all of Rogers pirate went into hiding, who`s to say he wasn`t on Rogers ship as an assistant to that other guy that stood in reverse mountain? i honestly wouldn`t be surprised if Oda does something like this, this is One Piece after all.

Roger's ship already had a doctor; it's the guy who takes care of laboon. Why would they need hogback? That would just be stupid.

If Hogback is half as good as his reputation, having him on the ship ALONG with crocus makes sense. Having that miracle worker working on that incurable disease is far from stupid.

One Piece Film Strong World, Munehisa Sakai and Toei Animation's 10th film in the One Piece anime franchise, will ship on Blu-ray and DVD in Japan on August 27 with new scenes added at the request of creator Eiichiro Oda. Unlike on previous films, Oda had personally overseen the new film's production last year. He also collaborated on the film's story and designs for the costumes and creatures.

In addition to the standard editions on DVD and Blu-ray, the film will have 10th Anniversary Limited Editions in both formats. The limited editions will each bundle an extras DVD with a color design collection as well as footage from the preview screening after the film's completion and the in-theater guest appearances on the film's opening day. The main disc will contain the teaser trailers, the full trailers, the television commercials, and other elements.

The limited editions will also bundle a "tone-dialing" voice keyholder, a deck of special Strong World playing cards, and a bendable "Gum-Gum" ("Gomu-Gomu") pencil.
