Based on a manga series authored by Yoshino Hiroyuki and featuring art by Kenetsu Satou. The manga is serialised in the shounen manga magazine Champion Red.

The story takes place on the grounds of St. Mihailov Academy, a Japanese Eastern Orthodox school, and draws heavily on religious references from the aforementioned religion. Here it follows the trials and hardship of two of its students, Oribe Mafuyu and Tomo Yamanobe, until the encounter with a mysterious, silver-haired, Russian boy named Alexander, or Sasha for short. This pits them and the whole school in an all-out war between the Church itself and the so-called "Adepts", a sect of individuals wielding powers linked to the elements of chemistry.

Such outstanding plot and character development... i find myself feeling unworthy of laying my eyes on such a masterpiece.

It was somewhat funny they never even showed how the elemental users recharge their energy reserves. It was all censored away. Although I suppose even the thickest anime only watcher could guess it, despite the studio's efforts.

I didn't remember how douche Sasha was. Maybe I'll watch this for a while. Though I might prefer the, supposed, later releases without plot destroying censorship.

Wow, just...wow.

I watched it from start to finish in eyecancer quality, but never, never did I expect this to happen. It wasn't really all that great, and even seemed to have a timeskip "epilogue."

I don't know if I'm happy to get to see more of the "story," or sad that this is the caliber of anime that keeps getting sequels. Maybe I should read the manga.

I downloaded the first 7 episodes from them and currently downloading 8 and 9. Their page says its not dropped, but they haven't released anything since the end of october.

I would go to another group if I could find 720p encodes... Kira-something has a batch for the full 1080p which I can't run... and their 720p encodes seem to have been lost alongside anirea.

If I find any 720p out there I'll post them.

That 1080p batch is unofficial and contains old releases. romey is patching/v2ing all those eps from the BDMVs. He stopped doing 720p releases at episode 6.

Yeah I saw that batch wasn't official. Kira-fansub had a poll to determine how to continue the re-encodes, but that was at the beginning of December and they haven't say anything else.

I posted my problem in Doom9′s forum so I got more advise on solving the problem. I’m trying what they told and waiting to see the result. but yea if u looking for quality it’s best to download the 720p that I’m gonna encode from the BDMV.

So I decide that I will be doing two things for this series:

1- going to make patches for 1080p v1 raws (the patch going to include the edited subtitles and union names, also a union audio format, the all gonna have AAC).

2- I will still continue on encoding from the BDMV for 1080 v2 and 720 v2 but this time the v2 will take more time since each episode gonna have a different setting which I might to re-encode the episode many times until i get the quality that I want. and this unlikely gonna happen with any of the other show.
