Alternative title: The Idiot, the Test, and Summoned Creatures

Synopsis:The story centers around Akihisa Yoshii, the "baka" of the title. His academy rigidly divides up the student body into classes based on the results of tests. The prodigies are in the A class with reclining seats complete with air conditioning, but Akihisa is in F class, the lowest rung of the school ladder which is furnished only with low, decrepit tables and worn-out straw tatami mats. A girl named Mizuki Himeji is actually one of the smartest girls in Akihisa's sophomore year, but she had a fever on test day and was pigeonholed into the F class. Besides Mizuki (who Akihisa secretly adores), the F class also has Yūji Sakamoto, the class president who has been Akihisa's friend and partner-in-crime since the freshman year.

The school happens to have developed experiments to summon fantasy creatures, and Akihisa decides to rally F class to take on the higher-tiered classes and seize their perks. The F class uses the summoned creatures in an all-out battle for school supremacy. -MyAnimeList

I started watching this today and after seeing all three episodes, that line stuck out to me the most.

The voyeur guy is hilarious. He makes me laugh in every single episode. It's funny how the girls know that he's a voyeur, but they don't even try to stop him from peeking or even bother to say anything to him.

It's not big enough to cover the other side of the field for the girls, though. That is to say that the bracelet's field didn't change from last episode.

Although it wasn't shown, the girls might have known that the teacher was there (don't ask just guessing) and according to their rules they can summon with the teacher's permission (remember the begining of ep 5?) The field itself was pretty big so there might be something like an area effect. Other than that this ep was funny a good way to distract myself on another boring day ...

I don't think the girls knew he was there. Even if they got his permission, there should have been a summoning field beforehand, as seen with previous episodes involving Beings. It is true that a teacher's field is very big, though.

Haha man, this episode was hilarious from beginning to end. All of Voyeur's near death scenes had me cracking up. Especially the one where he was getting a blood transfusion.

Edit. I just noticed that Shimada on the girls side, had less points than Akihisa. She only had 43 points compared to his 75. I knew that her scores were bad due to her not being good with kanji, but I didn't expect them to be lower than the ultimate baka's.

The hilarity continues. Poor Yuji... Poor Voyeur... Poor Hideyoshi... Poor Akihisa... I hope they manage to catch at least a few breaks over the course of the show. Between Shouko and Shimada's physical abuse, Himeji's culinary abuse, and massive gender identity confusion it seems fate has it out for the guys in this show especially hard.

The North American anime distributor Funimation has announced that it has licensed the Baka and Test — Summon the Beasts (Baka to Test to Shōkanjū) and Dance In The Vampire Bund television anime series from Media Factory. It will simulcast both series with English subtitles — within days of the Japanese broadcast — starting this month, and the first episodes of both series will begin streaming this Friday at 10:00 a.m. CST.

I thought it was excellent. It had a lot of new comedy styles or modifications to tried and tested methods. The shaft art also complemented the series well, unlike Bund. This anime is also very character centric (which I love in anime), and manages to create so many hilarious and interesting characters.

I like the jokes the characters are throwing back and forth in interesting situations, but I really do hope the story goes back to more summoning battles and the repetitive Ironman's "supplementary classes" gag. I find them much more entertaining.
