OM is slow...

Great chapter. I'm loving the interaction between Luffy and Hancock.

I'm pretty sure Marik hooked his brain directly into the internet and have it set to constantly check for Anime and Manga updates.

He's the best since he offer MF and MU links!

So Archie hit the nail regarding Kuma.

Im curious to know what was the deal given to him. And even more curious to learn what he told Rayleigh back at Shabondy.

Luffy against Hawkeyes? Holy hell.

Next week shall be boring without this manga.

Yes i'm awesome like that, you may worship me now

The deal given to him... who knows? Maybe vegapunk revived his loved one or it was the sacrifice he needed to do so he could be Dragon's spy against the world government

I'm not too excited about the next chapter, for one thing it's gonna be 1 week late and i'm sure the fight between EagleEye and Luffy is either gonna end in a stalemate or isn't going to happen at all

Yep. You were right. Good thing I agreed with you.:p

The word 'fate' makes me think Blackbeard will be coming (even though I am with Assertn in thinking he shouldn't bother).

Trying to steal my spotlight?

Well with that swordman on the cover all powerups seem to be somewhat obvious, with the possible exception of robin. Any ideas how being liberated by the revolution army is going to help her improve her abilities?

Ivanova is pretty strong to take on Kuma herself.

Do Flamingo was impressed by Crocodile's Baroque Works plan, since he clearly has a similar plan of his own.

Oh shit, Mihawk is serious.

Any ideas how being liberated by the revolution army is going to help her improve her abilities?

She meets Dragon and learns something new?

She was escaping in the first cover page. Either she sense an opportunity because the RA arrived, or she escaped and they coincidentally arrived. Either way, she was capable of escaping using her own powers. And Robin would have been willing to fight. So if the RA shows up, she most likely fought right along side them.

This attention on power ups is becoming a bit annoying. None of the proposed ones have happened yet. The plot is more interesting.

... her?

And obviously all of them are gonna bust out their new moves in some upcoming battle against another crew/evil organization like the good old times

her ability is mostly knowledge.
so being well-informed about the subject in hand (she knows a lot of the the grandline, but not so much about the new-world) will be considerable power-boost for her.

I don't get it, donflamingo, crocodile (with #1) and diamond jaws, who's fighting who?

She's transgendered and transsexual.... so yes, "her". If she wanted to be a man, she wouldn't have pumped herself full of hormones. She has the power to change another person's sex. Do you think she didn't do it to herself?

That's part of what makes it annoying. It's boring. I want some real plot, and Oda has managed to avoid huge powerups since Ennies Lobby. Nightmare Luffy is an exception, but it wasn't a "permanent" powerup, or skill.

Yes, they really will all need power ups before trying to go into the New World again. But that isn't going to happen for a long time.

I think Crocodile attacked Whitebeard's crew, and Jaws defended. Then DoFlamingo stepped and helped Crocodile. But yeah, the art wasn't so clear there.

Doesn't okama mean transvestite? All of them are still man, they just like to dress themselves as women. In Ivankov's case he can change genders by using his devil fruit but he's still usually just a dude in woman's clothes

What's a long time to you? Because i'm seeing them in action as soon as this war is over, maybe in 1 or 2 months

Well it took them something like a year of sailing before they reached Shabondy... It would be hard to make a plausible plot that got them together a lot sooner than that.

I guess they could meet at Reverse Mountain, since it's between the Four Seas. That would cut some time down. But Luffy has to sail from Marinford. Kuma doesn't seem like he will be helpful this time.

In terms of chapters, I don't know.

I was hoping for another scanlation to counter-reference, because I know some of the translations near the end were sketchy. DoFlamingo wanting to "hook up" with crocodile is supposed to be a proposal to team up.

I want to know how Marco hit Kizaru, or how Jaws hit Crocodile... is it all just haki?

Also, its pretty obvious that no serious match between Luffy and Mihawk will develop. Mihawk can't be defeated until he faces Zoro, anyway.

Another good chapter.

Like others have said, if Luffy wasn't the main character, Mihawk would be probably be his worst possible matchup. Seeing as how defeating Mihawk is Zoro's goal, both of them should be surviving this conflict.

About the cover pages: I don't think everyone is going to get a fighting power up. Robin meeting the revolutionaries may actually be a lot more beneficial to the Strawhats overall than if she increased her combat ability. If the SHs have connections with Dragon they can call on more aid (in multiple ways, not just fighting) than any single person could provide.

Good call on Kuma's mind wipe - but since he was a revolutionary I just don't see him submitting to the WG without a backup plan. He either has some way to regain his consciousness somehow, or he made some sort of deal with the WG where he would sacrifice himself. Otherwise he could've just teleported away if he wanted to escape.

Oh, that's actually a good point

Why is he still holding on to that bible (http://www.onemanga.com/One_Piece/550/08-09/)? Isn't he just a mindless drone now?

No manga next week. What a tragedy.
