What's wrong with the poll system? I tried doing one and it said that it didn't allow for options with over 15 characters

Seems self explanatory to me.

A poll is supposed to give a general idea of qualitative value to the surveyor. It makes absolutely no sense why you would want to make options expanding fifteen characters, unless it was to make a biased option (or a specific option, which sometimes is redundant because of its situational circumstances). If you want to write more than fifteen characters, use abbreviations and expand further on it later in your post.

GOOD POLL:

Do you think we should have a big circlejerk?

1. Yes!
2. No!
3. Undecided!

BAD POLL:

Do you think we should have a big circlejerk?

1. YES, BUT I AM BRINGING POPCORN
2. NO, BECAUSE I HAVE A GIRLFRIEND
3. I'M IN FOR FIVE SECONDS
4. UNDECIDED BECAUSE I'M A DOUCHEBAG
5. ETC.

15 characters just isn't enough, it's annoying to have to resign oneself to write so little in each option

Write it in shorthand or l33tsp34k. That will make it fit this new draconian poll system.

Blarg good luck with your job, and next time I think they will.
Hope they never find out you're a 10 feet giant that will grind their bones to make your bread though.
