Here's one of the most critically acclaimed and most anticipated shows of the fall season. With all that said, I didn't like the first episode. Poor acting, soapy, cheezy, and just didn't flow very well. The only redeeming part of the show so far has been the Journey - Don't Stop Believing cover performance.

I very much doubt many, if any, here would like this show, but who knows... maybe some of the music performances will make up for its shortcomings. I've seen it compared to the show Popular, if anyone watched and liked that.

Second episode airs tonight on FOX, and here's the first episode director's cut in case anyone is interested:

And here's a trailer:

And here's the Don't Stop Believing performance, which was really the part I enjoyed:

It has Ryan Murphy, creator of Nip/Tuck, so who knows if they can end up doing something worthwhile with it. I don't see it at the moment though.

Will Schuester an optimistic high school teacher, tries to reinvent the McKinley High School's glee club, while reinventing himself. He challenges a group of outcasts to realize their true star potential, while facing harsh criticism from everyone in the school.

Not sure if anyone on here is watching this but I've just started watching the first season and so far it's kinda...meh whatever, the only parts i particularly look forward to are the singing parts.

I do like the hardass cheerleader coach (the woman playing the therapist in Two and a half men)

That, and the girl playing 'Emma' is so cuuuuuute.

I watched the first 2 episodes and stopped. If I was going to watch this it was going to be for the singing performances, but I was hoping to see some actual singing. But it got too cheesy for me.

Show is getting a huge boost for airing behind American Idol.

Yeah.... i just finished watching eps 1-8, and without the singing parts, i would not watch this, i think i might simply skip through the rest of the eps and just watch the performances.

I have been seeing 'Emma" a lot more lately. She did an episode of "How I Met Your Mother" and several eps of Heroes.

@ 6:35 they're at my University (NYU). I'm impressed that none of the rabid fans crying over their presence were caught in the shot!

I like how they were dancing and shit and everyone was just ignoring them. Yeah, that sounds a bit right. Well, usually if people are being entertaining, others (tourists ;p) will stop by to watch.
