If you watch tv I'm sure you've seen the commercials for Bing, microsoft's new search engine. Who needs that when you have google?

anyhow, I discovered bing.com/cashback which is very cool. They also did it as live.com/cashback i believe.

Anyhow, sign up and you get cash back for online purchases that are signed up w\ bing. Ebay purchases are 8%. You search and it shows you items that have cashback. newegg.com does 2.5%, some dell ad's are 10%+

I'll have to check this out further, but already amazon.com and target.com aren't on their list of stores.

I've checked out Bing, but I don't really see what makes it any better than any other search engine. I'd really like their image search, but I hate having to view things in a smaller window within a larger one. Makes it feel claustrophobic.

Those commercials are annoying as hell. Just one more ad I have to mute when it comes on because Goddamn those people never shut up.

I guess bing has a couple of cool features, but I see no improvement whatsoever over the results from Live search.

@Buffalobiian. Bing's video search is notoriously good at finding porn.

i didn't know bing was good for searching porn LOL

i haven't used it to search... just the cashback. It's especially cool if i need to buy something expensive for work, 2% ebay bucks, 8% cashback ^^

I just tried it, and it did not return any desirable results.

edit: I spoke too soon. Bing is great.

Well I'm still not going to use it. There are better sources out there for that.

It's just a neat feature to have.

Microsoft chose the name Bing cause they want it to become a catchy verb, just like Google. I think we should turn Bing into a verb used for porn.

I had nothing better to do last night, so I binged.
