"Juuzawa Juu is a delinquent high school boy who just wants to be left alone. One day, he is approached by Ochibana Ame, who claims that she knew him in a previous life, and now wants to serve him as his "knight". At first Juu wants nothing to do with Ame, but after a classmate is murdered, he accepts her help as he looks for the killer." -ANN

Edit: Another sub appeared. Though I can't say anything about it:
Episode 1 - SE (http://www.anirena.com/viewtracker.php?action=download&id=23128)

Genre: Action, School Life, Violence
Episodes: 3 (according to ANN), OVA

This ova series shares the author with Kurenai, which made me initially interested in it. After watching this first episode, which was a full story of its own, I can see how that could be the case. Same manner of abrupt violence is offered in this ova as well. The release above offers only hardsubs, but otherwise I don't have that much to complain about. It's about 40 mins long and has pretty nice graphics as well. Easily worth watching should the genre be of any interest, because the story was rather well written indeed.

So I read the anidb description and it said that the two stories were related. And it got me thinking, Juuzawa sounded really familiar. So I looked it up on ANN for Kurenai and it appears Benika's (red headed boss of Shinkuro) got the same surname. Could she be Juu's Mom? Can't be sister, since his pictures show no siblings.

Wow, this was a very compelling OVA. I like how they have an Akikan! can and a semi-Rena Ryuguu look-a-like around 28:07 and beyond. It just made the episode that much awesome.

Yet another release appeared, and I'll replace the hardsubbed EnA one with this:

Episode 1 - Ayako (http://a.scarywater.net/ayako/%5BAyako%5D_Denpa_Teki_na_Kanojo_-_DVD_-_H264_%5B549F83BE%5D.mkv.torrent)

That was probably some of the more twisted stories I've seen. Good watch though, and it ended well enough. From the responses of this thread, there's some related material out there. Would I be spoiled visiting Wiki, or is it that involved that a dip into some background would make this OVA more enjoyable?

Sick twist of a story and I quite enjoyed it. It was pretty amusing that the student council president snapped and tried to kill Juuzawa but only to get killed instead.

Ame was absurdly cute with her fringe up in that cafe. She also owned the two pathetic girls with her argument. It is awesome when someone who probably has a taser in her skirt does not resort to violence and simply abolishes the enemy with a few sentences upon her master's order. It takes a lot of intellect and quick thinking to come up with such a plan.

Who the hell are those other girls? One of the girls stop the other from cutting a guy's throat. How do they even exist in modern Japan?

Ninja will always exist but I was also confused at how Juuzawa got in touch with them in the first place to set up a meeting. Anyway, another thought provoking episode from this franchise, I was quite pleased, I do love the twisted crazy girls.

I also like the Juuzawa and Ame team as a problem solving partnership. I like them especially at the current point in their relationship as it is clearly emotional for both of them yet it's still strictly platonic which suits my personal tastes. That said, I can feel them inching closer together and I'm not looking forward to any overt love expressions between the two of them. I can't see such feelings not causing trouble between them but I prefer the troubles remain external to their partnership.

That's how I felt, so I rewatched episode 1 before this.

Ame was absurdly cute with her fringe up in that cafe.

Every scene where she shows some eyes were cute, but I agree that that was the best one yet.

Having watched both episodes back to back, it seems the underlying formula is to have the main mystery solved near the end (with the culprit fairly well established by then), followed by a final "twist" that changes your perspective of a previously likable character.

With such a long time between releases though, I'd likely forget that, so hopefully it'll have it's full effect on me again.

These 2 episodes were thoroughly enjoyable, hopefully we won't have to wait too long for the third installment

There seems to be a supernatural side to the story too, or does anyone have any other explanation for the apparent connection between those two?

Their "connection" is questionable, since it kind of happens all too often in anime.

I always thought that Ame's story was more likely a delusion based on the prince toy Juuzawa gave her when they were young.

That's the feeling i got from episode 1 too, but the fact that she knew he was in trouble on episode 2 can't be so simply explained

Twisted as it is i always thought ( up to that point ) that the story was taking the realistic route.

Is this the crash right at the end, or something that happened before?

When she went back because she knew he was hurt

While that may be the impression it gives off, you can't forget that Ame (or her friends) are by no means "normal" people. Despite being an otaku, Ame is very athletic, and her friends are practically ninja. She wasn't all that far from the scene, so she might have just heard the faint sound of the truck crashing and gotten a very bad feeling, and rushed back to make sure he was alright.

You can tell she was close by because when the sun is that low in the sky, it does not take very long to set completely, and was still up. She was a five minute run away at the most.

MyAnimeList and Anidb confirm it, ANN still states there's 3 but more a couple of people on the website have already reported it as fake

I just caught wind of it on 4chan and from the looks of it it's true
