It's currently down (too much traffic?), but according to a mod on r/Demonoid, it will only be used as a forum and will not host torrents. Also, the site founder died last year.

Even www is getting so old that site founders are dying. But of course there's already a whole generation of people who were born when www was already a big thing, and now they have children of their own. Soon the same thing will happen with smartphones.
