Can't remember what Anime a character is from...

If someone could help me out, I'd be very appreciative. The character I'm thinking of is a female with an X-shaped scar either across her eyes, or right around that area. I realize that the description is kind of vague, but hopefully someone has an idea... Otherwise it's gonna drive me nuts.
