Game: Audiosurf

This game is apparently like a year old. I just found out about a couple of days ago and have been playing non-stop ever since.

Here's description:

Audiosurf is a music-adapting puzzle racer where you use your own music to create your own experience. The shape, the speed, and the mood of each ride is determined by the song you choose. You earn points for clustering together blocks of the same color on the highway, and compete with others on the internet for the high score on your favorite songs.

This is actually a pretty tight game, although some music levels were a bit too easy. ;)

wasn't the demo supposed to support only ~4 songs and the beginner characters?
I played ~8 songs now and all characters are avaible.

but when I installed it like ~6 month ago I couldn't select them
