Not a whole lot happened in this episode. I hope the next one is more thrilling.

Looks like you don't know how a .mkv works. Ok... install the two things below and it should work. :D

I'm not sure what you use for your player, but I recommend Media Player Classic

The episode was ok.... but nothing really happen and the part where Sasuke fights all those Ninja's was boring as hell. They showed nothing! :confused:

To get subs working in MKV's in WMP11 or WMP12 simply install ffdshow (which can be download here: http://www.afterdawn.com/software/video_software/codecs_and_filters/ffdshow.cfm) and Haali Media Spliter (which can be downloaded here: http://haali.cs.msu.ru/mkv/MatroskaSplitter.exe). After installing them open the MVK file in WMP11 or WMP12 and right click on the FFV icon in the bottom right hand corner of the task bar. Scroll down the list on the left hand side until you see a heading called subtitles and put a tick next to it. Subtitles should then work in Windows Media Player.

I found it way easier to just download the Combined Community Codec Pack then check off the box next to "Autoload VSFilter" in the settings.

After that Windows Media Player works fine.

Ok MKV pros... I downloaded it, and I've had some MKVs before so I have all the necessary codecs and whatnot. I can see the picture, and the subtitles, and the audio is there.

But the audio is really off... it doesn't match the pace of the show. Enough to really throw off my watching. Anyone know how to fix this?

did you get the 1080p file? it could be that you got it and your computer can't run it. that's how it is for me. the audio is always out of sync with the visual for me.

try the 480p. it will probably run better.

anyone know if horrible subs is gonna release it in .avi? wasn't there another group called taka (or something like that) subbing naruto as well? I dont even know if I want to download this ep... I hate naruto fillers

Horriblesubs are 'downloading' the stream from CrunchyRoll, which happens to be in mkv, so I don't think they are going to release an avi.

As for the episode itself, I was glad when Naruto summoned Gamakichi because I was not a fan of homofrog.

But then I was less glad when I saw the fat one two(also, summon two frogs at once wtf?).

But I'm hoping the inevitable combo attack is with Gamakichi.

As opposed to this version where they say something along the lines of "oh my god, he didn't even kill a single one" I can see how that would be ambiguous...

Actually in the Horrible version I watched Oro said..."You didn't kill all of them...how naive."

Which leads me to believe that he killed some of them. And that isnt how it was presented in the manga. I just want to know who is right because it changes the character entirely.

On one side he would be a cold blooded killer and he can kill anyone that gets in his way.

On the flip side if Sasuke didnt kill anyone it shows that he still values human life.

So which is it? Can anyone translate the ep in that part for me?
