Game: Sonic's Ultimate Genesis Collection

Comes out Feb 10th, 2009. Lots of Sega classics getting an HD upgrade. Not fully redrawn, but filtered and such I'd assume.

I think the upgrade to HD looks pretty good. But a lot of people have argued with me that they look horrible. :confused: I don't know, makes me think they are those people who just don't want their classics touched.

The British Board of Film Classification has revealed some details about the upcoming Genesis collection for Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3. In their report on the content, they mention 40 games (those are the ones revealed on Sega's site already) and a list of unlockables and bonus content: 9 more games, 8 video interviews totaling 30 minutes, and 45 minutes of game play footage.

Sounds like a great collection so far, and there are 9 titles left to be announced. It will be $30 well spent.

I love Streets of Rage, I just beat it again on my sega about 4 months ago, and played the mania mode then got killed off lol, it's all about blaze .....

If you're not willing to fork over $30, just get a flashed 360 and get games for free (besides the cost of medium).

On the subject of the Ultimate Collection, I hope these "unlockable" games are pretty worthwhile or nostalgic. There are some games that I never even heard of (for example, the game Fatal Labyrinth).
