In this world, there are three identical looking people in existence who split between them an energy-like force called “Terra.” This energy can be attributed to the amount of “Luck” or “Life Energy” that an individual possesses. There also exists beings who observe the human world, maintaining the balance of Terra, known as the “Coexistence Equilibrium.” These beings possess ability that surpass that of a normal human being and reside in hiding in places known as the “Pure Place” in tribes. They are called the Terra Guardians. This is a tale of battle that begins with a chance meeting between a human boy named Keita and a young Tera Guardian girl named Kuro.

Don't hotlink pictures. Fix the link and/or upload to a image hosting site.
Haven't seen it yet. Fan of the manga, and this seems like it won't follow the manga but borrow certain elements and scenes to do its own thing. Don't know how it'll turn out, but I'm a bit skeptical of ruining my manga experience. But from what I've seen, the anime should be quite cool.

I think Dark-Soul had a sub out as well. Haven't watched it yet, but it looks promising.

Can't say I like how different they look than their manga (or manwha?) counterparts. The art was quite a bit more unique than your usual Japanese animation. Keita's hair style isn't even the same.
I don't like how they changed the beginning either and various things. Keita changed to a boring angsty High School student? DO NOT WANT. I'm friggin tired of high school students. It was a nice change to have a main character that's working and out of school (the real premise). No Akane introduction? Feh. They completely took out the humour, added a lame new character (Yeah, I'm looking at you evil looking megane-kun). The fight and atmosphere failed miserably to capture the same amount of desperation/anger/grief the manga did. There's an utter lack of any emotion at all except Keita's boring stoicism.
So far for me this is a HUGE fucking disappointment. Hopefully it gets better, but I won't keep my hopes up. For those who haven't read the manga they might find this decent or average I guess, but this could've been much better than just passable.

I don't remember the manga beginning that well anymore, so I was feeling only a minor sense of difference. Although my whole perception of the story is coloured by a certain detail that already was given a taste of in this first episode. In short I wasn't among the people most eagerly waiting for the anime adaptation anyway.
But it's always good to know 2/3 of the world population are redundant. Would do wonders to the overpopulation if nothing else...

I'll start off by saying I'm very sorry to anyone who read the manga and was hoping for a 1-1 adaptation. That said I hope that those who read the manga will be kind enough to let those of us who don't read try to enjoy the show as it is rather than as it might have been.
For a first ep I thought this was pretty cool. Kuro has a good blend of cuteness, badassness, and mystery about her that makes her endearing. Ibuki seems to be pretty generic so far but I've come to expect that and my first impression of him was that he has room to grow. From the little plot hints dropped it seems like there's already some sort of big nefarious plot afoot that Kuro is mixed up in. My first impressions gave me a Sekirei/Chaos;Head/Ga-Rei Zero blended togeather vibe. I predict a mysterious evil organization/entity is up to no good and Kuro is a mid-level player in the greater battle against this evil and between brutal fighting of various minions we'll get a taste of slice of life with a feral fighter girl trying to be a normal member of society and probably some form of attachment between Ibuki and the girl who replaced the girl in his class. The manga is always better, as some of you have already pointed out so I'll probably break down and start reading it eventually.

Guys aside from the topic, what subs are good to watch for this anime?

Episode 2 - Nuke-BandaiaTV (http://tracker.minglong.org/torrents/%5BNuke-BandaiaTV%5D_Kurokami_-_02_%5B1280x720%5D%5BD4E416A5%5D.mkv.torrent)
I added the episode link, because it's the custom over here to mark the episode specific discussion so that the first person (after the episode has been released) posts a link to the ep. This way those who haven't yet reached that ep know not to read yet. -Kraco

just watched the second episode.
when the lady found kuro outside, and took her inside. why the heck didn't she get her clothes? why would she go out and buy her dinner in stead of trying to find her some pants?! i dunno about you, but that would have been my top priority. to put some clothes on the homeless chick.
I'm not really getting the point of the whole fate division thing.. so whats the deal with getting 100% of the fate? what's it's do? make you invincible? lets you avoid death? I don't get it..
it was pretty funny when Kuro flipped into hero mode and she was like "you.. you kill people to gain power?! you monster!" but then when she's describing the whole fate doppelliner system, she's like "hey, they die because it's the system. thats how it is. get over it. they weren't important enough so they died.". that was really funny...
and what the heck are the odds that over the entire world, with there only being 3 of you, that so many people run into their doppelliners.. I mean come on..
overall I'm not understanding the series. I just don't get it. yeah, it's a cool setting and all, but I don't think that this is going to turn out as a very good or worth while series.
I guess I'll continue to watch it.. if I feel like it, and if it doesn't get any worse.

mm, well I'm watching the dubbed version. though it's pretty low quality.
i guess [Nuke-BandaiaTV] would be good subs though. but i haven't seen them, so i don't really know.

Even more brutality suffered by the cute girl :(
I may be the only one who cares but there's a group/individual Theft who is muxing the Nuke-Bandai releases with the audio for the english version creating dual audio mkvs.
The torrents seem to dey up quickly but I was able to find the first two on IRC. Here's the torrent for the third but I don't know how much longer it'll last. One of big draws for me is that while being dual audio the Theft! releases are still smaller in file size than the absurdly large Nuke-BandaiTV ones.

Synchro, eh? I didn't believe Keita could manage to synchro with anything but his bottle of lithium drugs, but he actually did it - with a terrible henshin scene to boot...
Man, I'm intensely disliking his lethargic and uncaring disposition. I don't remember it being like that in the manga, but it has been a while.

It wasn't like that. Keita's taken almost a complete 180 personality-wise from the manga.

I finally got around to watching Black God and I must say the first episode impressed me in visuals, plot, and the whole basis of this system of "Doppleliners." So, we have this cute little girl who seems to be able to fight very well, as demonstrated from that fight scene with that random punk, and a high school student who seems perplexed by the situation and everything that's happening around him. I do kind of feel sorry for him since he's losing people because of seeing their "dopple" side. Makes me wonder what role he will play in this anime and how it might affect his daily life.
EDIT:
I watched the second episode and I must say that that truck that ran over that little girl is a little retarded. The lights clearly say "Pedestrian Walk," but the truck keeps on speeding and crushes that poor little girl. What kind of retard can't even see that the lights just turn red? Anyway, good episode, but I think it was rushed when he managed to grasp his powers to Kuro in a fairly short amount of time.
Third episode was... confusing, but still enjoying with Kuro's naive nature. I liked how they synchro so fast before getting to know each other, but... whatever.

I must say, Kurokami tried to put up a decent grasp on the audience without having to actually refer back to the manga material much (if any or at all). I lost interest in the show and decide to drop it around episode nine. It just doesn't have the plot I was looking for, sadly. It could have been better, though.
