Indeed. It got mentioned the action might go soon back to the real business. This filler arc seems about finished in any case, in a few episodes perhaps. Can't say I'd miss it, even if it wasn't the worst of fillers, but the octopus katanas were just getting so ridiculous. A huge deal about so lousy weapons. Plus I kept expecting the new captain to be a bad guy as well but the chances are getting pretty slim.

I predict he will get 'fired' for disobeying the orders given to him... Or he leaves by himself because he feels unfit for bringing a traitor with him..

Probably the latter. A large number of captains not only disobeyed orders but faught the captain-commander himself.

Then again, it is filler.

They were cool when each one was different(even when they got reused because more powerful people got more powers with them). But a couple episodes when they showed like 20 of those ninja guys with 20 identical bakkouto, it got stupid.

Also, they get points for ripping off Soul Edge. :p
