Game: Spiderman Web of Shadows

Venom has returned to New York to infect the city with an army of symbiotes. S.H.I.E.L.D. has quarantined Manhattan to prevent the invasion from spreading. As a result, the entire city is cut off from the outside world. Spider-Man has to work with both heroes and villains from the Marvel Comics universe to track down Venom and stop the invasion before he himself is consumed by the symbiote attached to him.

At this point, characters that have been confirmed are: Rhino, Black Cat, Kingpin, Luke Cage, Mary Jane Watson, Wolverine, Venom, and Vulture.



The game is set in the mainstream Marvel Comics universe. Like its predecessors Spider-Man 2, Spider-Man 3 and Ultimate Spider-Man, the game will allow free-roaming action, and players will be able to customize Spider-Man's aerial and ground combat. In addition, the player will be able to choose the game's outcome and Spider-Man's path.

Anyway i saw the latest trailer and was even more impressed then i was with the previous footage ( partially thx to logan ofcourse ), so i thought why not make a thread with an awesome template for it ;P.

So far i think it looks great and i'll get it day 1.

I'll definitely get er day one; but I'm thinking it'll get boring pretty fast. The baddiess all look so generic, sure they'll spice it up, but I'm tired of destroying the same baddies over and over.

This one is definitely looking to be the best Spider Man game yet. The combat in all the other ones was just horrible...but at least the web swinging partially made up for it. Web of Shadows looks like it'll have both combat and web swinging done just right. I was very impressed with the first trailer.

Since the game is dealing alot with the symbiotes, I wonder if we'll get to see Carnage? And shit, Symbiote Wolverine...:eek:

Yeah maybe it is just the fanboy in you speaking. Its kinda weird with me because I never really enjoyed Spiderman games much, the best so far was Spiderman 2. I think it has something to do with me comparing all of them to Spiderman PC and they never seem to stack up, which doesn't make any sense to me since that game wasn't all that good.
