The episodes are only five mins long, and apparently this is a web broadcast series. The idea sounds somewhat similar to Toshokan Sensou, but of course this is far more terrible. I mean, who needs books if you can't have chocolate?

The first episode pretty much established how ruthless the regime is and showed the main cast, or most of it, but due to the very limited length, little else. Casualties so far consist of one chocolate bar.

Edit: This is a nice enough looking series, especially for those who like chocolate (I do), but the eps could really be longer. Now they end as soon as they start.

In my current state, chocolate is a mandatory food for me. It has become a basic need for my body.
I tried replacing it with vitamins and nutrients thought to be efficient in chocolate to no avail.
Just a little bit of chocolate every evening and my body works a little better, that little is very important to me currently. The difference is obvious and measurable.
So... do not even think of voting for a party that would wipe chocolate from the universe!

This is a cute.. odd show. Though I almost wish the episodes were longer so you get more. 5 minutes makes it seem like one of those time fillers when they pop on tv.

And there are 13 episodes, I think? Will the conflict be solved by then?

AniDB does say 13 episodes, and with this series I'm inclined to believe it. I guess the resolution to the tyranny will be of somewhat symbolic manner even if they take things far in the story concretely. 13x5 minutes only makes about three normal episodes, after all. Can't have wars fought in that amount of time.

Nice little ending. Smudger and Huntly got their kiss after all. The class captain was such an ass that when they made him into a redeemed character, I wasn't sure if I could bear watching him. Turned out though, that he's quite a likable character who's bravery is probably on par with out two protagonists.

A short sweet series, and of course, definitely recommended to anyone who adores chocolate. :)

And anybody who needs to counter a "chocolate should be banned" argument :D
