Ran is a bright and energetic first-grader in junior high school who possesses supernatual abilities. Together with Midori (her friend who also has supernatural powers) and Rui, the threesome are constantly embroiled in mysterious circumstances. Ran is troubled by her powers because it seems to spark off the ill intentions of people in contact with her. However, with the support of her family and peers, Ran learns to deal with her 'other' side and accepts who she is. The threesome also learn how to team up as a whole and solve these mysterious events.

Looks interesting, like the cast, and the retro vibe to the animation & character design, but the episode is sadly unwatchable for me. My computer can handle 1280x716, but 1440x1080 is excessive even with CoreAVC on my old machine.

I might try the .ass with a downscaled raw.

the program to merge the raw avi and .ass file into an mkv container (http://www.bunkus.org/videotools/mkvtoolnix/)
Super, a program to reencode the raw to a smaller res if you want to (http://www.erightsoft.com/Superdc.html), I put in .avi h.264 mp3, under 1000kbps, top quality off, hi quality on, h.264 opt 1.1, comes out to around 200 mb, or use smaller resolution and less bitrate for even smaller file, but this step is really only worth it if you computer can't do the hi-res or you want smaller files. Do this before using mkvmergeGUI.

I have to say, for the piece of shit I was expecting this series to be... this is not half bad to waste some time. The characters are bad, the dialogue sucks, but it has a bit of a decent story underneath it for what it is. I'll probably watch the series from time to time.

Yeah, I defiantly have to agree with that lol..

when I first read about this show I thought it was going to blow nads too, but oddly enough its not that bad; it reminds me a lot of the Daughter of Twenty Faces (Story line some... Art mostly... same studio?)
