I loved the MUMMIES series, so I'll definitely look out for this one. What's more, Jet Li's in this one. Maybe we'll be moving away from supernatural mummy curses to superhuman martial arts?

Damn... they replaced Rachel Weisz but didn't replace her character. I loved Rachel Weisz as Evey, she was great at pulling off the homely librarian -> sexy warrior transformation. This new girl has been in a few movies I've seen but I don't remember any of the characters she played which is not a good sign.
Brenden Fraisers goofiness, Jet Li's Jet Li -ness, Michelle Yeoh, and giant CGI mummy battles should be enough to distract from Weisz's absence though.

I was hoping I'm just tired and missed it. So Weisz isn't in it after all. That's a big hype drop for me, since not only was she pretty, but like Yuki said, she played the previous Eveys perfectly.

Yep, Rachel Weisz not being there sucks... but I like Maria Bello myself. She was in Payback, and since Payback is one of the most awesome movies to ever be made, she gets an automatic win from me.

I only today learned of this movies as they played a trailer before Crystal Skull. At first I didn't know what to think of it, the previous Mummies not being any epitomes of movie making, but when I spotted Jet Li, I began to think I want to see it. Besides, Chinese mummies does sound like a fresh idea after the traditional Egyptian ones.

I hope this will be a decent movie and not just another cash in sequel because i loved the 2 prequels to this.

One thing that's pulling me towards this film besides Li and Fraser is Michelle Yeoh. (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Michelle_Yeoh).
I haven't seen much of her lately, but I remember all those good old ones from the Hong Kong action film era, and she was awesome.

I don't know if this is the same trailer as the one linked above, but since I couldn't watch it for some reason, I found this trailer:

im still wondering why theres a yeti in the movie.
I was asking the same question when I saw that as well actually. But then I just realized that it's a movie in the "Mummy series", and then put that along side the fact that they're in the Himalayas, and then just let my mind agree with what it saw while I moved on. I can see it working in that aspect.
