He guyz,

I will show you where you can download almost all anime's and manga's movie's etc.

First of all you must download newsleecher 3.8 final
http://www.newsleecher.com/?id=download
(there is an update but dont download the update, because he will ask for a key)

If you did that then install newsleecher. If the installation is ready then you open newsleecher if you did that then go to Manager.
http://i194.photobucket.com/albums/z64/Crazerdash/cxcvxvc.jpg
Click on it then go to +add
http://i194.photobucket.com/albums/z64/Crazerdash/bvbv.jpg
Then you will see this
http://i194.photobucket.com/albums/z64/Crazerdash/bbbbbb.jpg

Here you must add a server

This is a site where you can get server
http://www.xlned.com/
Its a dutch site but click on this one
http://i194.photobucket.com/albums/z64/Crazerdash/vcvc.jpg

If you did that then you will see this
http://i194.photobucket.com/albums/z64/Crazerdash/vvvvv.jpg
Choose Xlnedplus and by choose periode you can choose several periods but there is periode of 7 days-€0,00 choose that one if you dont want to pay per month or per year.

Then you will see this
http://i194.photobucket.com/albums/z64/Crazerdash/vvvvvvvv.jpg

Give your information, but dont give your real information

Then you click next then click agree terms then click on start payment the rest is easy.

Then you get an email of Xlned.

There they say what your server address is copie and paste the server address in the empty boxes
http://i194.photobucket.com/albums/z64/Crazerdash/bbbbc.jpg

Maybe you get the email in dutch:
the meanings
Nickname>Gebruikersnaam
Password>Wachtwoord
Server address>Server

They also say which ports you need these are 119 or 80

But choose port 119 because i always choose port 119
(if your ports are not open then open them if he downloads without saying error then there is no need to open the ports)

The last thing:
go to www.binsearch.net

then write for example>bleach 90-119
then he also says results per page choose 250
and also maximum age of posts choose show all

Then there comes a list then choose the thing that you want to download and create NZB
choose open then he opens newsleecher then he always says a new betaversion is available click ok

Then click connect then he will download bleach at your maximum speed (speed must be at automatic you can change by the Options>Connection>speed)
My highest was 2.01 MB/s
http://i194.photobucket.com/albums/z64/Crazerdash/BreakingtheLimit.jpg

If the download is ready you dont know where it is so go to options>download>Default download folder then choose a location where you can put it in.

Download>Winrar>http://www.download.com/WinRAR/3000-2250_4-10007677.html
Download also Quickpar>http://www.quickpar.org.uk/

Quickpar is for repairing damaged files
If it is Damaged click on repair

P.S. if 7 days are beyond then go to proxy.org where you are anonymous then click a site and type the site (xlned.com) if you are lucky then you have a new server
Or download Hide My IP for a trial verison
You must also have an new email address

this is all Happy downloading

He wasn't advertising.

Thanks for the post, I've always been interested on downloading from newsgroups, but it has always seemed a bit complicated.

So basically if you use TOR (or any other way of being anonymous) and you can create loads of mail adresses, then every 7 days you can get a new server and download lots of stuff...

I will try it, torrent is convenient for an average use, but the quicker the better...

I have Utorrent to download things but the speed is slow there is a way to get it fast but i dont use it, because i already have Newsleecher to download with max. speed. But i aggree with ''that the torrent is convenient for an average use''

Can you tell me how TOR works and how to be anonymous?

If you search for "vidalia" in google, you'll find the installer that work with no tuning at all. You'll only need firefox and to be under windows (I think there's a linux version, can't remember though)
Then you have a little onion down left your firefox browser that tells you Vidalia status (privacy on or off).

It's quite useful sometimes, like the one you describe when you only need to hide your ip for a short period of time.
The TOR network is more and more efficient, it's very rare now to have very slow connections, and when it happens you can always renew your route with a click. you get around 15kb/s average browsing speed, which is enough for basic browsing in order to find a new server and submit a new mail...

Last question: it seems you do not even need to erase a cookie. Once I had to track some cookies for the same type of things, because the registering site set cookies to track those who would use privacy routes :D

With firefox you have minimal things to do. Plug and play i'd say.
For IE I think you need a plug in or change to proxy setting manual, which is a bit of a pain. But I can't remember since I've not lauched IE in a while

if firefox is installed after vidalia, you'll probably have to reinstall vidalia, for the integration of the easy function.

Well, I just tried this trick and is working so far. The only thing is that when I visit the site through proxy.org, the choice for the free week is no longer available. Any ideas?

David75, can you check if your vidalia trick currently works while we're at it... if so, I guess I can use that alternative.

I'll try getting two identities from the site.
I guess they put tracking cookies and so on.
I'll try that later in the day. New working day is about to start.

Sounds good, but I think it would be enough to check if the option for the free week is at least available. As I mentioned, the problem I encountered had nothing to do with creating a new identity as I hadn't created one yet.

When I browse the site normaly, I have the free week option. When I go through that proxy.org site, the option is no longer available so I think it has nothing to do with a cookie. Well, who knows.

http://proxy.virtual-browser.com/

that one allowed me to access the page:
http://www.xlned.com/mijnxlned/inloggen/

if that's the right one. I guess they used DNSBl in order to get rid of those using proxies exactly as we intend to ;)

I'll proceed to what I wrote earlier in the day.

Well, I just used that http://proxy.virtual-browser.com/ to access xlned.com and this time it gave me the option for the free week.

I guess I'll try in a week and see how it goes, after I'm done using my current account.

Actually... it's quite wierd at the moment. I'm at work, which has the same ISP as my house, and going through proxy.org at the moment is giving me the option I was looking for.

I wonder why it wasn't showing up earlier. Guess I'll try again when I get home and see what's going on.

Ok.
In fact using vidalia, I had to change identities at times, because the direct link would send me to the google page of the country if the machine querying the page for me... So clearly they use DNSBL or an equivalent. Or it was just a glitch.

Regarding the option there or not, cookie or watermarking of some sort?
If not, do you think it could be linked to your other problem we discussed this week-end?

PS: for those reading and not knowing DNSBL is a blacklist of machines/servers/pc know to be proxies.
A proxy is a machine that anonymises you from websites you go to.
It's useful for many uses. But sadly the method allows for spaming.
Blacklisting these machines/pcs/servers is a way for a website to prevent
some of the spam to come.
For a forum, it's also a way of preventing a person from having multiple user acounts -most of them being trolls or even bots- It's not totally effective, but blocks some of it.

Na', it can't be a problem of what was discussed during the weekend.

But as you said, you needed to change identities a couple of times so it seems like they're taking measures to stop the usage of proxies taking advantage of their deal. And as you said it's not perfect, so I guess I'll just have to keep trying and trying until I get the option.

I'll see in a week. Thanks for the help.

you're welcome.

And yes it seems it's fast finding the right proxy.

I have to say, this newsgroups thing is awesome. I'm maxing out my download speed easily.

Only thing is that only files within the last 60 days (because of this service) are available... but man, this is saving me a ton of trouble downloading some tv shows, etc.

Edit: And you know, I may not even need a proxy for the trick to work since what I have is a DSL modem. I probably can simply just reboot my modem and that's it.

Oh, so their "service" can't recognize patterns and the global form of your ip.
I guess that with a good cookie cleaning, since you do not have a fixed IP, that could do the trick. Easier you're right.

Regarding the service, I admitt I've been too lazy to try it. Also my dl pattern isn't that bandwidth dependant, so I guess I may not need it or save myself the hassle to dig into it.

Well, I'm simply speculating... haven't tried it yet. Will see in a couple of days.

For me is quite helpful since for downloading full seasons, that are only available through torrent private trackers, I would need to seed my downloads so it ends up being a pain in the ass maintaining a good ratio when my upload speed sucks ass.

I really don't care about speed, since I have access to many places that provide me what I need at great speeds... but since I don't have to seed using this system, it's quite advantageous.

So would this system be considered "P2P"?

My school has been cracking down on BT and other programs, so I've been looking for an alternative.

I don't think this would be considered P2P, since all you're doing is downloading the files from the servers... it's like a direct download of sorts from the looks of it.

Here's a decent tutorial:
http://www.binaries4all.com/newsleecher/

Just focus on the having the right settings in place, and don't worry about subscribing to news groups, etc.

Use binsearch.net and the likes to find things to download.
