Description

For four decades, Golgo 13 has been the world's greatest assassin for hire. His real name and nationality are unknown - but his legend is everywhere. G13 never fails a job, and never sees his clients again unless they try and betray him.

Golgo 13 is described as a mystery man of undetermined origin, possibility being at least part Japanese, who takes any assignment for any employer as long as the right price is given and will always fulfill his contracts, even if he has two or more opposing contracts at the same time. He is an uncanny sharpshooter, with only one missed shot and capable of lethal trick shooting. He regularly uses a customized, scoped M-16 rifle in his assassinations. He also is a heavy cigar smoker.

Despite Golgo 13 being amoral he takes up assignments that work with his own ethical logic as his targets are usually criminals and assassins who deserve what they get partially. -http://www.animenfo.com-

I was going to skip this because of that M-16 part (who would use such an unwieldy assault rifle all the time in operations requiring secrecy, unnoticeability, obscurity, anonymity; you can't easily hide M-16 anywhere, I deem. It's a big mofo), but now that I look even at those two screenshots, neither has an M-16. Maybe this would be a serious series after all. Still, I can't watch all the series of a season so I'll probably wait until people start calling this awesome.

I've heard assassins love their job. Whether it's because they get hours of love while their gun is made I don't know, but this guy sure knows how to spend his spare time. :D

We've got good old adventure stories, and now we've got old school mafia x assassin ones. The art and style is kept from the manga (spanning decades), and adds a nice touch to it. I wouldn't say it's spectacular, but I won't be dropping this unless I have to.

From the looks of this, it'll probably take an episodic approach though.

I think I'll drop this series for now, and pick it up again if it's good. It just doesn't have the wow factor for me.

the problum is they dont give you any sense of why G13 is who he is maybe they will later but i dont wanna watch like 5-6 cookie cutter episodes

i remember the first time i ever saw G13 was in his Nes game it was hard as hell =/

but it did have a scene with a chick in a hotel that may have made this one of the first games to ever have H in it ..... i was really young so give me a break
