Subtitles in file attached.

Had to 'modify' them because they had syntax errors... but they are the real deal.

Will watch it after this post :D

Hm, I never got around to buying/playing the last game. Does this movie span all three games or just one?

Alternate retelling.
It takes the same bases, but has different events.

EDIT:
Finished watching.

Wow.
Outstanding animation.
Nice way of showing the important events of the games, plus a little re-arrangement to make a movie... and the new scenes are great.
Sad some characters did not make it... and that some others role was... changed... or rather the role lacked.
Some characters made it in just one photo... but not 2 important ones... hmmm
Loved to see Alkaid, even for a few seconds.

There is a rumor that, due to the success of this movie, CyberConnect2 plans to do one now based on .hack//IMOQ (Kite and BlackRose's story)

They pulled some of this stuff out of their ass, I mean it was jumpy already but they didn't have to make stuff up. Like during the Ovan Tri-Edge vs Extra Evil Haseo's costume and dual-wielding broadswords? I mean I didn't play the third game, but this fight was at the end of disc 2. I guess they had to weave it in somehow in a movie format.

Too bad all we got to see of Alkaid was like 10 seconds. The animation was pretty awesome.

Parody Mode includes more scenes of Alkaid / Yowkow.
Short, but enough.

And well... yeah... movie was a retelling. They had to cut out many things, and to make the climax more enjoyable they added the new B-ST form.

But hell... after GUN(novel) and GU+(manga), GUTrilogy is just one more retelling.

GU has 4 different versions already.
