Lately started reading it, read a few chapter way way back a few years ago but forgot about it until now. So far it's something quite enjoyable, there's a total of 6 volumes and it's licensed by Tokyopop, with the third book coming out next month. There's a scanlated version as well that's up to volume 4 or 5 hopefully they'll give out the rest of it soon as well.
Story is pretty simple there's a disease called Medusa and like the name implies it causes the human cells to harden as if petrified or simply turned to stone, people infected get about 6 weeks to live. However there's no cure for this disease, a rich mans son dies of Medusa and as such he decides to funds a research and 160 people infected by the Medusa is picked out to enter a cold sleep until a cure is found. Kasumi is chosen for the program to enter the cold sleep but doesn't want to leave her twin sister behind yet in the end enters after being convinced by her sister. She wakes up from the cold sleep only to find the chamber filled with plants and thorns growing all over the place. As others begins to wake up from the cold sleep each one as confused as the other only to be greeted by a monster.
What happened in this place, in the world? Has a cure been found? How long have they been asleep? What is Medusa really? Not knowing anything and in order to find the answer and ultimately to survive Kasumi and a handful of people set out to escape the facility. But with everyone infected with Medusa is it only a matter of time before they all die?
