I just won a Wii tonight, I am completely and utterly happy. I wasn't sure if I would get it but I did. They had a competition with the bungee-run thing where you run with the cord attached to you and try to stick a marker further than the other person. Well, Apparently I was the best at it there, and got my self a free Wii, second controller and nun-chuck, and the Sonic game for the Wii. I couldn't believe it..... anyway... Pictures.

The problem with a free console can be that since you didn't spend money buying it, you don't acutally feel the need to play it as much as you would. I got my PS2 free with my mobile, and never played with it as much as I did with my old consoles.

It depends on whether or not you cared to have it in the first place. I've been planning to buy a Wii for a few months now, just couldn't find any and had PC games to entertain me instead. If I won one tomorrow, I'd play it until the controllers broke.

Some people need that sense of accomplishment when buying something with your hard-earned cash. I'm that way, but will gladly accept a freebie now and then.

Yeah, We knew that the prize was a Wii when we entered it, there were only about 10 of us that had a chance in it. I got very lucky on how the brackets were set up. my only challenge was the last round.

I am already finding that true, as much as I love playing it I don't feel the utter need to play for hours on end. I love Wii bowling!
