I'm surprised that nobody has made a topic about it...or that the search button isn't working for me, but here it goes...

One day, Ikuto has a fight with his father and as a result runs away from home in the heat of the moment. Everything was going well until he boarded a ship, but then he carelessly fell overboard. After encountering the most serious raging storm in a hundred years, and spending many days adrift, he arrives here, at "Airantou". However, this island is a little weird...because, this Airantou is an island comprising solely of girls. An (extremely enviable) destiny awaits Ikuto.

Really good anime so far, I just don't hope there isn't an ending where nothing happens in the end like Otome wa Boku ni Koishiteru.

I've been watching this series, and like you, I fear this will have a zero development ending. The whole series kind of smells like that. It would be a pity, but after nine episodes of a total chicken main character it seems more likely than not.

I wouldn't exactly call this "really good", but it's decent enough to keep watching.

And since they have h264 versions available (http://a.scarywater.net/ayako/), you should have linked to those instead if you chose not to link to both...

Yes, I also feel some development going on, but it might be normal for the girls to have so much...emotion towards him because he's the only man on the island. Ikuto, to me, apparently doesn't show any emotions of love to the other girls yet, so as you said, Kraco, there might be zero development at the end of the story.

The reason why I called it a "good anime" was because I really liked the OP and ED themes, and the storyline; but if there's no development, then it'll just be some mediocre anime then.

Hmm... I seem to have generated a lag of two or three episodes with this series. I should catch up one of these days before the gap gets terminal.

Episode 11 was worth watching solely for seeing Machi's method of communication through Ayane. The "Morse Code." The less Suzu and the more Machi, the better.

Seeing her mother, it's clear that Yukino's dream of growing into a sexy lady will never happen. Bonus for loli fans.

I'm with you there. If by episode 2 you still can't figure out who this kid is going to end up with, seek help. (Of course, they could add a real twist to the story... but we all know that isn't going to happen.)

I think what Kraco was saying with a zero development ending is that nothing major will really change, and they will all end up the happy island family that they are after a ton of episodes. I usually hate those things, but comedy is decent enough to follow.

Lol, it's incredible how they managed to get every single harem cliché in a single package

Even if I die of old age and natural causes decades from now, I will be buried never really understanding what manner of people love endings that resolve nothing at all and are more or less identical to the end of the first episode. Even if it's a ronery otaku who might dream of being surrounded by girls, surely he would like to pick one in the end and go further with that chosen one.

Actually, there are really rare cases where I would like that kind of ending more than the main character choosing a girl or guy I dislike.

If no choice is made, I would just feel a bit cheated, and forget about it after a while.

If a bad choice is made, I would feel pissed, and remember it forever.

Princess lover came to mind...

But it was funny how i watched the 2 first episodes of this, then watched the last one and didn't feel like i had missed anything at all

That is because you didn't miss anything at all.
