Series Ending, Shipuden confusion

I've seen things saying that the show ended at 215, but i'm seeing links for up to episode 220 on here. I've seen links for OVA's, but also links for a new series called Shipuden (i think). i'm just confused, and at the risk of being flamed, could someone clear this up for me?

When does the series end, and are shipuden and the OVA the same thing or something different? :confused:

The original Naruto series goes untill episode 220.

Naruto Shippuuden is the NEW Naruto series, NOT OVAs, which is currently up to episode... 9 I believe? (well, 8-9 we're waiting to be released, but it should be within a day or so, right guys?)

OVA is non-manga related, continuity-less episodes. Not to be confused with Filler, OVAs usually have little to nothing to do with the main storyline.
