Series premiered in NBC. Just watched the first episode, and I have mixed feelings about the show. I think it has a pretty good cast, just that the main character's personality is dry so far and can get boring at times. I do like the premise of the show though, this is not the usual "detective who sees ghost" series. He's actually nuts, and the way he interacts with the "ghosts" is very interesting. I thought the visual effects were nicely done, though I didn't like the soundtrack of the episode that much. Anyways, I'd say give it a try, and there's also a hint that there may be a bigger plot in the horizon, so for the moment I'll keep watching.

In this drama from NBC Universal Television, LAPD Detective Michael Raines has the ability to have detailed conversations with deceased crime victims but by only using his imagination. This unique "talent" allows him to retrace the steps leading up to their murders and helps him to solve the cases. Although he also must also deal with the apparition of his dead partner, Raines won't stop until each killer is found and brought to justice.

Raines was created by Graham Yost and Frank Darabont is the executive producer
