Got a question about sharingan

If Kakashi isnt an Uchiha how can he have a sharingan.

and second question how can it be that it is just one eye instead of 2 eyes

Okay, here's a quick summary:

Back when Kakashi had teamates (such as Naruto, Sakura, and Sasuke), he was on a mission, with his sensei being Yondaime. Stuff happens, and Kakashi's clumsy friend, Obito Uchiha (similar to Naruto in looks and determination), dies when rocks from a cave fell down. Obito leaped and pushed Kakashi and Rin out of the way to save them, and he was killed in the process. Before Obito died, he was able to activate Sharingan, and just before he died, Kakashi's other teamate, Rin, came in there and did a quick eye-surgery and replaced one of Kakashi's eye with Obito's eye (his other eye was squished by a rock).

Wow. I only said that so he could gain ALL of the knowledge of the Sharingan. Those chapters will tell him about Kakashi getting his, but that wont be very conclusive about how valuble it can be in other situations and characters....just trying to give him a lil more than he asked for that is all. Is that a crime? And if so who made you the POLITE POLICE? And further more if everyone answered the topic 100% and nothing else this wouldnt be a very fun place now would it? -dg-
