Well, this is a great comedy and action manga, so I thought that since there were 3 chapters released today, creating a thread about this series was due. This manga is from the same mangaka of Claymore.

Just so you guys don't think that I only enjoy dark violent mangas, I'm here to recommend the only manga, aside from Hajime no Ippo, that has genuinely made me laugh. The manga has nothing to do with angels, just so you know. It's a manga that can be explained with two words misconceptions and misunderstandings. Here you have Kitano Seichiro, a mostly quiet introverted individual, who is the nicest most generous person you could ever encounter in your lifetime. His only concerns are making good in the world, get good grades, and make lots of friends. The only problem is that he has the face of a devil, so everyone assumes that he's the incarnation of Satan, an individual purely evil. One misunderstanding after another he becomes the leader of the local gang in his newly transferred high school, which is hilarious since he doesn't even know how to fight. The leader is referred to as the Guardian of the school, so he's responsible of protecting it from rival school gangs by fighting them. What mostly makes it funny is that he has a speech problem, and every time he screams to help someone he makes the most evil sound anyone could ever hear, and the manga has a small translation to what he actually meant and to what the other characters actually hear. The manga is full of comedic situation, some interesting fights, and a hint of romance. Everyone should take a look at this manga, it’ll make your day.

Just wanted to say this is one of the most hilarious manga I've read...I wasn't too sure about reading this because of the funny looking character, but after reading the 1st volume, it all made sense and everything that happens is very funny.

Yep, glad you liked it... it really is one of the most hilarious mangas out there, more people should pick it up. Too bad it ended though, I thought it could've gone for a bit longer... though I didn't mind the ending.

The mangaka had to move on and write Claymore.

One of my favorite series though. I found this series after I had started reading Claymore. Ikuno was probably my favorite character (particularly her non-chalant attitude about Kitano's relationship with Ryoko at the end), and there's a blatant resemblance to the character design in Angel Densetsu in Claymore. (Ikuno, Kitano's mom, the kids of the family with the American father, Ikuno's father, etc.)

I kind of liked the open endedness of it, where all his close friends finally accepted what kind of person he really was (at least the girls anyway).

Oh I didn't know there was a thread for this. I read this sometime last year and loved it. Its definitely one of the funniest mangas I've ever read and its a series I've recommended to anyone that I know reads manga.

I liked the ending but I really wish it could have gone on longer, it was just too much fun.
