I watched the Lunar version, like in Bleach I like how they say things. And Blakeman what's H Game crap? I've never been able to watch a show like this so maybe that's why I'm not tired of the H Game genre.

And I havent watched any release so I'm not lobbying for any release at the moment... but they'll probably discuss translation comparisons and such so it is always a good idea to keep an open mind and inform yourself of other releases out there...

But if you want to blindly go with Lunar without trying the rest.. go ahead... (though my opinion is that they suck)

However, I haven't had the time yet to watch any episode myself either, though I chosed Lunar cuz they did a great job on Onegai Twins. Okay, they're version of BakuTen pretty much sucked, but from what I've seen the Air one won't have all these slang subs. Episode 2 was great. I loved the little cameos in it. There was a girl with the bunny from 'Happy Tree Friends' on her t-shirt and a cameo appearance of three of the girls from Kanon.

I watched ep 2 from both Koi and Lunar and I have to say that I like Lunar's version better. The ep looked better and I liked how some of the things were said in Lunar's version better. About the ep it was damn funny seeing him try to control the Sloth. And even funnier seeing Potato imitate it. This Show earned a spot in my top 5 list knocking Otogizoushi out. Shame since during 1-13 Otog was #1 when Madlax ended. How the mighty have fallen.

What is this anime about?

I'm not good at these things so I suggest you watch the first 3eps but I'll try. It's about a boy that's searching for a girl with wings. During his search he meets a girl that agrees to let him live with her if he plays with her(which the little evil bastard never does). There seems to be something strange going on with Misuzu mom and Kano sis know about.


About the ep meow was darn funny but when Minagi went Pachi Pachi Pachi I busted out laughing. Her lack of emotion is just funny.

Another great part in that ep was the locusts. Haha, what a way to start the day.

I finally started watching Air... gave Triad and Koi a try...

I was really rooting for Triad to excel, but I didn't like their version too much, I think it was problems with how they edited their lines....

And I pretty much liked Koi's version so I'll stick with it (too bad they don't put their credits)

As for Lunar I've never liked them, so I won't give them a chance... so I guess I'll stick with Koi....


As for the anime....

This series seems interesting thus far, different from what I imagined it would be... which is always good, since I almost always start watching something with low expectations...

I hope that guy becomes more kicked ass... right now he is getting bullied from left to right... And Mizusu's mother is great, it would be nice to see her get more screen time...

Most of these really aren't that big of a deal, I honestly have no idea why you hate Lunar so much (a lot of people seem to since Lunar picked up Air). I'm just really amazed that people have this much time on their hands to make issues out of this kind of crap. I've watched both Koi and Lunar's and they both seem fine to me.

I do agree that Lunar isn't the best out their but the subs they do are better than most. I do agree with you about the Air subs they do not being good as Koi. But Lunar is very reliable about releasing subs unlike some other sub groups that we won't mention.

i just watched 1-7 tonight after i got home from work, what a strange anime this has turned out to be, i'm not really sure if I like it. The whole story just seems kind of stupid to me, but maybe i'll be blown away in the last 5 eps.

From what I gathered the only way for him to save her life he sealed his powers into the doll. Some how I think by him doing that he was transported 1000yrs into the past to where he first met Misuzu since he said in order to be by her side he would relive life from when they first met. I think he went back to stop what ever made the winged princess sad in the first place(could be his death by that swordsman). OK so I know I make so no sense so somebody else come up with something better.

Yeah, my impression of Haruko was completely wrong. I thought that she didn't care for Misuzu at all, but it turned out to be the exact opposite. Quite a change.
It was interesting to see the extra stuff that has happened in the past. Best part: Haruko asking "Why are there more?? More?? MORE??" while poking Yukito's head. That was gold.

this series is really good IMO, it's different from the typical cookie cutter anime's you see these days, from the idea I got from it, the show went in a totally different direction from what I thought, and I'm still loving it, the couple episodes the showed in the past which explained Misuzu's illness were excellent. It's so sad that this is a short anime. I hope for a great ending and a even better movie.

To the guy who said this series was "H-crap and was wasted animation" you must be a very boring anime fan, probably the type who likes nothing but fighting, blood/gore, which most lack good story and plot.

It seems to be a retelling, or perhaps additional scenes from the "Summer Arc" of the original series, specifically after Kanna and her followers left the shrine. The original summer arc played a large part in the original series plot.

it wasn't terrible.... they took the entire series, sans the first 2 girls' arcs and then just concentrated on the misuzu/yukito arc and intertwined it w/ the kannabi no miko arc to draw parallels or whatever. the storytelling isn't exactly the way the tv series went but it was pretty darn similar. it runs for about 90 min and does a pretty good job, in my opinion.

I just finished watching this series, this sereis was GREAT, the story line just made me hooked from the first ep. i was wondering if anyone else had seen this series. If so please discuss. I have to admit though it made me tear up a few times :( i recommened that anyone that hasn't seen this series to watch it its UBER GOOD...so discuss please.
