Voltron was one of the most awesome shows I saw as a little kid. Before I even knew what anime was, I was hooked on Voltron. As many people on this board are about the same age (within a few years) I assume I can't be the only one with fond memories of the Voltron force.
There's a lot going on right now for fans of the old-school anime Voltron. The DVD (http://www.amazon.com/Voltron-Vol-1-Defender-Universe/dp/B000FUTV64/sr=8-9/qid=1159281537/ref=sr_1_9/002-6258992-9068066?ie=UTF8&s=dvd) came out today. Tomorrow night a bunch of people in St. Louis are showing Voltron on a 40 foot screen (http://www.voltronforce.com/Movie/MoviePromo.html). There was talk about a movie produced by Mark Gordon last year, but that's gone nowhere.
Is anyone else excited about seeing Voltron on DVD? I can't wait. What's your best memory of Volron? Did you like Lion Voltron or Vehicle Voltron more?
