Tokyo Game Show: SquareEnix pre-announcements

Its still a few weeks before Tokyo Game Show starts and SquareEnix is already releasing info.

Four new RPG's have been announced. The two least important, or hyped (sp?) are Heroes of Mana and a newcomer, It's a Wonderful World.

The other 2 really don't come as a surprise with SquareEnix's late tendencies.

Final Fantasy XII - Revenant Wings, sequel to the FF that hasn't even reached our borders.

Kingdom Hearts II - Final Mix. A game which most likely won't reach our borders, like the first Final Mix... will it have another new secret ending speaking about the mysterius Keyblade War and Chasers? I want to download it already...

This may actually be the game that makes me get a PSP as I've always wanted to play with Zack. I hope it has Aeris in it or shows a scene of them meeting for the first time.

I too will buy a psp when that game comes out. Other then Valkyrie profile, I havent really seen alot of good games that makes me want to buy a psp at the moment.

In the latest EGM they said there are rumors from a "good source" that there will be a FFXIII Tactics type game on the DS announced this fall. If this turns out to be true and it's not shitty like FFT:A, I'll be buying a DS.

Got my PSP and ready and waiting for Crisis Core, christ it looks awesome.
There are a bunch of decent psp games that keep me entertained all day. But wish I could find more info on Crisis Core.

The emulators out now can only play a handful of games and of the 90% that do play, they play crappily.

Kingdom Hearts II Final Mix + will feature a second DVD with a PS2 remake of KH: Chains of Memories.

Crisis Core FF7 will have a spring release in Japan.

FFXIII showed the same trailer with a few new scenes.

you could always just buy the flash cartridge made specifically for the ds, if you don't want your ds to be a complete waste. most likely, my guess is you use the mouse for the touch screen or some crap like that.

oops, thought it was kingdom hearts for some reason. but since it's the same team, i'm sure it'll be one of the games to get when it comes out.

i'm pretty sure it'll come to the us, so don't get your hopes down now, they probably will. if not for you, then the fans that consume the us. you really can't expect them to hold back on the fans now due to their past fuck ups.

zack sounds like shinn from gundam seed destiny, maybe that's just me. first time i actually see a video for this. square-enix makes pretty good games this time around. this is sure to make the public fall in love with the psp. the visuals as usual were impressive and the atb system was removed from the gameplay. it's a shame though, thought cloud would at least make an appearence. unless, that soldier that he tapped on the shoulder was cloud.

now that it's settled. this is a perfect reason to get my psp's screen fixed. well, this and metal gear.

Oh yeah, new character looks like a cross between Cloud, Squall, and Tidus... the holy trinity of over-the-top masculinity :p . And, he has a MOTOR-powered sword!

It's a Wonderful World is a must-muy now that I own a DS. Hopefully it will be released this side of the ocean.

If it was any other game, it wouldn't be a problem. The problem is that a game that has a strong basis for story will make everything somewhat confusing and annoy the crap out of me.

Well... they have brought worst games (Musashi for PS2 for example). So I hope they do bring Its a Wonderful World (and Kingdom Hearts 2 Final Mix +)
