Game: Which Naruto game is the best ?

I was wondering which naruto game you guys think is the best 1st, 2nd or 3rd ? I haven't played any of them so I wanted an opinion before I choose one.

I've only played the first and second but out of those two, I'd have to say the second one was superior. The first game's list of characters was incredibly small and limited, while the second had a lot more choices.

If you've ever played Budokai (the DBZ games), they're very similar to those in that each new game is basically the same fighting system, controls, etc., just with new characters and moves.

So I'm guessing your best bet will be with the latest one.

yeo, definitively part 3 is the best, more chars and more balanced

I read about the 3rd "Naruto: Ultimate Ninja" and it only had 12 characters + 2 hidden one Sasuke with cursed seal and naruto with nine-tails chakara. So grand total of 14. The game play looks not bad either. I haven't seen the previous 2 tho.

This is the select screen for part 3, it shows all character, allthough naruto, sasuke, the sound 5, and Gaara (i may be forgeting someone...) have transformation wich counts as a diferent character

If naruto game 1 was released in 2003 why they released it in usa in 2006 ? Probably it'll be long before they'll release 3rd one in states, so I either have to import it or download :/

Probably due to the fact that the Naruto anime hadn't been translated until just recently.

I still think part 2 is better, having a superior battle system when it comes to super moves.

i have to disagree, a minute of button bashing and analog twirling will get so boring after awhile, plus the char roster alone of 3 ( 51 chars!), makes it much more fun to play.
I went back to 2 a few days ago, and it was really like taking a step down, played it for 10 minutes ( 9 minutes ofcourse being button bashing and analog twirling) and went straight back to 3.
